We have grown used to the lies and nothing can shock us any more

I'm alarmed by the current Iraq inquiry.

Not because the emerging confirmation of what most of us believed to be true anyway - that the Iraq war was about regime claim and the WMD claims were false and that only the parlour game of denials etc from Blair and Labour prevented that getting in the open -but because I can hardly raise myself to condemn it.

NHS hospitals, rated "good", are killing their patients by the sort of neglect Florence Nightingale set out to correct. ( That that's before we get into the state sanctioned execution protocols for the elderly and weak - see Liverpool pathway. We are a society that recoils from the death penalty for the most heinous monsters, but is happy for Granny to be staved to death as long as it has the work protocol before it. )

How weary we have become of the lies, spin and deceit.

How little hope we have that anything will ever be done.

Does anyone think Blair and his cabinet (including Brown) will stand trial for Iraq ?

This is what Labour have reduced us to. A country that no longer expects honesty backed by the threat of justice or even the rule of its own laws.

A country where an unelected prime minister signs away our sovereignty without even asking us as he promised to do in the Labour manifesto.

Britain's again the sick man of Europe - and England is locked up in the cellar, and our malady has many different forms. But the cause has been the immorality of the Labour party.

Given how much is claimed to rely of "fighting global warming" why isn't the evidence and its supporting arguments made in the open ?

The political line being spun by Labour right now is that we can't stop destroying our economic future right now by maxing up on debt because that would put the recovery in jeopardy.

However Brown and co are happy to campaign for the economic lobotomy that they claim their approach to "fighting global warming climate change" requires.

But the leaks from the CRU hack show us there is considerable uncertainty about what we have been told. Moves have been made to deny freedom of information requests to get at the base data. You also need the code used made available to check what is going on.

Now there are often arguments against releasing data and code, but given the claimed mass life and death cataclysms we are threatened with on the media every week by them and the economic sacrifice the Warmists demand we make, is it not time to get all the facts and arguments out in the open ?

This blog recommends that an incoming Conservative government makes a policy decision only to have its actions influenced by climate advice that comes from 100% open data and computer code sets. It may amaze you that this isn't currently the case !

Anything less will always be assumed to be a conspiracy, and may very well be the most costly error this country has ever made ( except perhaps electing Labour and having Gordon Brown in charge of the nation finances which is the biggest peace time disaster ever ).

Its time to come clean on climate change.

PS If you think this is a bit paranoid then you should nip over to Watt's up with That and look at some of the alleged CRU emails etc ( here's a good start point ) , and also research how government has been using propaganda to avoid even having a debate and to manipulate school children ( I'll be coming back to that latter in the week ).

I have personally worked in a University software environment and moved into professional software engineering and what amazes me is that anyone ever thought that the scientists would be doing a better job than this. I suspect part of the problem is we don't have enough post graduate level engineers and scientists in politics.

Its easy to produce great looking graphics and startling predictions - much harder to question them and hold them to account and that needs to be done at a political level as well as scientific level ( the short comings about which are made all too obvious right now).

Jack Straw is trying the "nothing to do with us" ploy on the plan to imprison less rapists and thugs by just giving them a telling off and sitting them on the local police naughty step for 5 mins - and save the government a great deal of money. ( It will also improve crime detection rates - as the police will become very familiar with who's doing all the criminal activity as they've just told them of last week ).

Jack says that, given there's going to be a TV programme about it, he'll set up a review (copyright (C) Gordon Brown and do nothing associates 2007 ).

The review ploy is being rolled out to increase student fees for Tory voters (that's what this means when you add in all the guff about social inclusion etc). The review is to be carried out by that good mate of Lord Mandelson who had to resign from BP. I wonder what conclusion he'll come to ?

The reviews serve the same purpose - to help with media management and to deceive the voters from true intentions.

The green shoots of spin start to get ready

So we have the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors ( who usually predict a rising property market - even just before the crash - I wonder why ? ) saying the housing market is off again ( their spokesperson almost certainly has their fingers crossed behind their back ) and the *government funded* National Institute for Economic and Social Research saying the recovery is coming. ( The Guardian and BBC are lapping this stuff up of course ).

Mean while the Bank of England hits the panic button again for another £50billion of government spending - sorry Quantitative easing due to the their view that UK recession "appears to have been deeper than previously thought".

The Bank of England is not independent - its board have been appointed under Labour.

What Labour want is a recovery to hold a general election in - whatever the disastrous consequences of doing so.

There is now a very large pile of cash being held on deposit at the Bank of England by the banks.

All the BoE needs to do to trigger its rapid dispersal into the economy is to start charging for the service of looking after it.

That would create a temporary blip in the economy just at the time of an election.

The Con could be on.

The smoke and spin coming out of Number 10 has just increased dramatically. Someone else is trying to pull the wool over the electorates eyes and help destroy the country by continuing the most disastrous premiership since Neville Chamberlain for a few more despicable and staggeringly expensive days.

Simon Lewis is to try to extent the country's suffering using his skills.

Its like a horror move where the monster is never dead. You think you've woken up and its all over, but then articles start appearing in papers to reposition Brown ( even Cherie Blair chipping in - what can have motivated her to do that ? ;-) ).

Brown claims he could walk away and become a teacher ( yeah right ). We have Roy Hattersley on the radio this morning complaining about prime minster's questions ( a form of debate that Labour manipulated in 97 to make it more favourable to their man ). We have the setting Brown up as the underdog strategy.

And all the while the country sinks further and further at an ever accelerating rate weighed down by Gordon Brown's millstone of debt just so selfish PR people can try for a triumph over the electorate.

Still Peter Mandelson achieves his mission of keeping out the Conservatives till Lisbon is ratified by the bullied Irish.

Tractor production to rise in the NHS !!

The Dour Leader has announced that through his genius tractor production will rise in the NHS forever and ever !

Out will go all the things people mention when they say they don't trust Labour on the NHS and in will come things to do the same thing, but that will be harder for people to spot.

For example Nice will approve drugs faster and everyone will have the same access ! But of course we know this can't be the full picture as the money doesn't exist to fund all this ( after all its all been sent to Wales and Scotland to pay for the Celtic socialist utopia's ), so the rationing will be hidden behind stealthy announcements about what works and what doesn't. All health trusts will be forced to do the same thing - so that no one can spot alternative practice or other drugs being used ! We will sell this soviet crushing of initiative as abandoning the postcode lottery - hail the wise and all seeing Dour Leader for his monocular vision !!!

Targets ( mentioned by David Cameron) are unpopular and so will be replaced by quality ! Of course the government will define the terms by which quality will be determined - in effect still setting the targets - but we hope no one will notice.

The enemies of the people, GPs, will be attacked by rounding the traitors up in polyclinics (an old soviet idea from the 1920's ) and making the remainders suffer from patient satisfaction forms ! Slowly they will be replace by more compliant, and less likely to spot expensive diseases, Nurse practitioners.

The Dour Leader cannot be criticised for all this as he will hide behind the profession of Lord Darzi. Some may call this cowardice - but now thanks to the NHS database we know who they are and have cut of any life support they might get in the future.

And of course these 'reforms' will apply only to the English - who failed - like the people who voted for the MDC in Zimbabwe that comrade Mugabe has had to 'persuade'- to vote for the Dour Leader's party at the last election, so the less of them there are in the future the greater the socialist victory will be !

Hail the Dour Leader - Tractor production is up and will rise forever under his wise vision and the NHS Constitution* !

* The word constitution does not imply referendums of any sort - and even if we promised one we would rat on it anyway - that's our moral compass again....

Labour to use chocolate fireguard to keep our kids safe online

The shameless morons who are currently Labour ministers have a new scheme to grab headlines and win votes keep our kids safe online.

Apparently convicted sex offenders are going to give their email addresses so they can be sent to social networking sites to block these people getting access to our children.

Of course anyone with a heartbeat will realise that this is just for show. Anyone contemplating illegal activity on a social networking site or anywhere else, will have no problem with generating new email addresses for that purpose.

The plan is unworkable and so obviously so that you have to conclude that its only purpose is to deceive parents that the government is doing something.

This is just electioneering. Its about as useful as a chocolate fire-guard for any practical purpose except grabbing headlines and keeping useless socialist councillors in their jobs after the may election apocalypse they are facing.

The rape of the British State by Gordon Brown

We are told you always have the right to say no and that no means no.

Well not to Gordon Brown. He promised not to betray Britain to the EU Constitution without the peoples consent in his election manifesto. But then he hit on the rouse of claiming the same measures, using different words didn't amount to the same thing.

Its like saying rape isn't rape because you use a different word but carry out the same act.

The British state has had its sovereignty violated, its democracy defiled, by the man who claimed he had a moral compass and wanted straight politics. ( And then went on in PMQs as he so often does to spread further lies about the political manifesto of an opponent - not the first time he's done that either.)

Democracy cannot function when politicians lie like Gordon Brown does from his position as the unelected leader of the country.

As the state cannot reject the cancerous activities of the current quisling Labour government then the state itself will lose its legitimacy - just as it is handing its powers over to a foreign and alien power in Brussels.

Often the word shameless is used to describe New Labour and Gordon Brown - but some how its doesn't seem enough, they are traitors.

Nick Clegg: The deceit and the conceit

Nick Clegg adopted Ming's ploy to deceive the British electorate by asking for a referendum on being a member of the EU.

It allows shallow Lib Dems (by no means all of them) to claim I want a referendum - just not the one which they promised ....

Nick Clegg was on Radio 4's Today programme this morning trying to call black white. He clearly learnt a little from his humiliation on Newsnight last night where the pure conceit of his position was laid out for him. He tried - and because he wasn't a Conservative - was allowed to talk out the time allocated. ( This was clearly his intention as at one point he even mentioned there's not much time left so let me explain .... Meaning if I talk long enough you won't have a chance to expose my rank hypocrisy any more ).

Newsnight gave him a rougher ride. Working on these lines - So the Lib Dems are being ordered to break their election promise and not vote one a proposal for a referendum on the EU Constitution ( which is what it really is ). That after the manifactured rage about not getting their own measure through - the only reason for which is the naked politics of trying to deceive their electorates that they "wanted a referendum".

The public can see this rank hypocrisy and deceit for what it is, and whilst some Lib Dems may not be able to break their word and will vote with the Conservatives today, the public have seen their party for what its is: dishonest, unreliable, hypocritical and deceitful.

It is also a party that's policies are dismantling the United Kingdom and handing its people over to an alien state where they will always be a small minority and from whom they may never recover their freedom.

In the short term Lib Dem MPs can expect to be rewarded not with 20 pieces of silver (the going rate for this sort of betrayal) but with P45s.

Update: Iain Dale watched Newsnight also and thought :

"I defy anyone to watch last night's Newsnight interview with Nick Clegg and tell me they think the Lib Dem position on an EU Referendum is anything other than a fiasco. Watch it for yourself HERE. It's about 15 minutes in."

Guido picks up on the discipline hole Nick Clegg has dug himself - there are shades of William Hague and his then leader of the house of Lords about this. In particular the elephant trap Paxo offered Clegg on if he'd asked for Lib Dem front bench resignations if they didn't refuse to vote as he told them to. Clegg's answer where evasive and paxman repeated the question to try to gain clarity. If in fact Clegg has asked for these letters then his credibility with his own MPs will have been destroyed by this interview.

Norfolk Blogger - whom Iain Dale quotes - deserves much credit for calling it the way he see's it - even though he's currently a Lib Dem. If more people interested in politics refused to be dragged along by party loyalty and spin when something that really matters comes up then perhaps the people's faith in politics could be restored. Well done Nich.

Isn't anti-royalism republicanism ?

The root of Labours failure and their electoral success over the last ten years has been their ability to lie and believe their own lies.

They use language to avoid uncomfortable truths and to hide reality from the public. We know their approach by the word 'spin'.

So get a load of this Labour are trying to accuse UKIP of anti-Royalism ( which is of course Republicanism - the default position of most Labour MPs is they suffered an outburst of honesty or if somebody put sodium pentathlon in the tea urn in the commons - you know that could be an idea, but I digress ).

Why - because they don't approve of the next in line to the thrown advocating removing powers from that throne to hand them over to the colleagues in Brussels ( known as treason ).

Labour just love deceit. They accuse another group of the thing that is at the heart of their movement by a bit of verbal gymnastics. But they gave up all pretence at morality and integrity when they became New Labour - which is really Stealth Labour. They have learnt never to be direct or honest with the people - hence why a barrister for Gordon Brown can argue that no one should believe their manifesto promises.

And they love inventing new ways of hiding what they truly believe - today that is anti-Royalism.

Spin like Flint !

Carline Flint wins the spin de jour award for the following:

She has suggested that council tenants ( people in state owned housing ) could lose their houses if they don't seek work. This is to deal with the nobody works around here mentality - apparently.

But hold on a minute - she's not giving an announcement of government policy. ( Though you have to wade a long way through any BBC presentations of this to find out ). And even the floated idea would only apply to new tenants - thereby taking a glacial period of time to actually make any difference. No we are told this is to "start a debate" - though what is has achieved is useful headlines just at the time that the Labour party is bullying the few MPs it has with any honour into being quiet about the betrayal of Britain and the Labour party manifesto by the coward Gordon Brown.

Its back to the mood music - pretending to tell the electorate something whilst committing to or doing nothing. ( Though as mentioned in the paragraph above the electorate should not believe what the Labour party say anyway.)

Its Tony Blair and the police marching offenders round to cash point machines.

Its why politics is despised by many of the English people. After all politics is just a PR and marketing exercise these days.

Downing Street says it has no evidence that the PM received a letter from the Conservative Party warning that an MP's conversations may have been bugged.

But anything that calls into question whether the letter was sent and implies it was never read - without actually saying so - will receive full marks.

Those who attempt the A Campbell gambit of attacking the letter writer and smearing them will receive half marks for effort.

No marks will be awarded for saying "Yeah we got that but as usual Gordon ignores everything Tories say, unless its a policy he needs to steal to stay in power."

Immoral Labour support illegal polygamy with your cash

Although perhaps nothing should surprise you for how Labour is willing to use your cash and destroy our culture and laws to buy votes and keep their useless career politicians in power this bit of caving in is surprising by its early arrival.

Labour is now paying benefits to multiple wives - i.e. state support for polygamy. Despite the fact its illegal !!!! ( Though Labour politicians do seem to think that the law only applies to other people these days.)

I hope those deluded people who call themselves Christian Socialists now realise the monster they are supporting.

MiaS predicted this would come a year ago- there is nothing - nothing - that Labour wouldn't defile, sacrifice or otherwise debase in our country for a few more grubby days in power.

Polygamy : If you have no Christian basis for your laws then I just don't see how this can be refused. Also why shouldn't polygamous families not adopt also ? Only Christian families will be forbidden to adopt - in case the child they parent should 'want to be gay'. ( My Brother's family were given pushed back from fostering for just this reason. )

Christians in the Labour party need to ask themselves if they can in all conscience stay in a party that is so devoted to attacking their faith.

And of course as the cowards they are Labour ministers have sought to keep this quiet. They govern by spin, disinformation and special favours handing over centuries of traditions and laws for a few grubby votes.

Teachers to get pay cut

Gordon the con-artist has set up the Aunt Sally of 2% for pay increases, but as we know inflation is at over 4% (real world RPI - not in Gordon's magic fairy land New Labour CPI).

So roughly the teachers are getting a 1.55% pay cut in real terms this year and potentially bigger cuts in the years to follow ( as they have to accept the risk of varying inflation rates over the three years.)

Now I can't really complain about cutting back the state sector - it certainly needs doing. But I'll just point out the cowardice, spin a deception used by Gordon Brown and the Labour government ( and faithfully reported by the -as ever pro-Labour- BBC as a good pay rise ).

Remember private sector pay rises are averaging 4%, and RPI inflation ( including things you actually have to pay for unlike CPI ) is 4% (link is live - so will be update RPI inflation reported as 4% for Dec 07).

Red line already being breached

You knew Gordon Brown and the gap year student Miliblogger were lying when he spoken about the red lines.

Apparently the Germans are already subverting the issue in terms of symbols and anthems - see Eu Referendum and links to other here.

The problem with Gordon deceitful red lines is all they are will be bargaining chips to be traded away in the future. the agenda for the EU has been set and Brown/Blair didn't stop it. The only option for the UK in the long run is to cave in.

Its been as successful as his grumpy failure in boycotting the Africa-EU summit.

In short the decisions Brown makes at EU level result in Britain losing every time - he is not fit to be prime minister.

( That's three posts ion half an hour, and I haven't had coffee yet - going to get some work done now, maybe the internet will need to go off for a bit ! )

You need Balls to fib like this ....

Ed Balls is reported as saying the following to a Labour party conference today ( reported by Pravda the faithful BBC ). Labour party members must be brain dead if they can swallow such direct contradictions of the facts of the last month - and indeed last 10 years.

He's beyond parody - here's what the faithful were expected to swallow:

"But for all the sound and fury of the past few weeks, it is still our party that has been setting the policy agenda - not taking the easy, short-term course, not just chasing headlines, but showing how a Labour government will meet the long-term challenges our country faces.

"And I believe that as a party and a government we have shown the strength to deal with difficult times and keep setting the agenda and responding to the concerns of the British people."

Also notice the mention of British - when we know most of the policies of the Brown government only apply to the English whom voted for another party at the last general election.

Lies - deception and spin. New Labour, MacLabour, Gordon Brown and its all Balls.

Woking featured in a TV party political broadcast for the Liberal democrats the other night. The town was used as an example to emphasise the party's green credentials by mentioning (and showing) CHP, Hybrolights, etc. with, as I interpreted it, the implication that WBC's green policies were due to the leadership of the party currently in control. Correct me if I'm wrong, but, surely, these measures were decided upon long before the Lib. Dems had control here. It's a pity the Advertising Standards Agency can't be involved in these broadcasts; we might then get a lot more facts than spin from all the political parties, something that's long overdue.

If my understanding is correct I think the real credit here goes mainly to one or two members of the council staff who have pushed this issue.
