Cameron has gone to war against his own country

Frankly the statement made by David Cameron outside Downing street is the most contemptible ever made by a British prime minister in that location. He deliberately uses the term Europe when he means EU to deceive and mislead.

He has tried to use fear and lies to enslave a once free and self governing democratic nation. He has shown his pathetic loyalty to the EU super state - and he lies about the consequence of the continuing pursuit of the EU superstate by Brussels.

Trying to hide his contemptible failure in reforming the EU by blaming those who want a free country as a threat is the action of a scoundrel.

You will know the quality of many in the area of politics by if they follow him.

They need to know they will *never* be politically forgiven nor will their actions be forgotten.

The consequences of the approach taken by Cameron will have repercussion including the invalidation of a remain vote- since it is being offered under a false prospectus.

The only question remaining is who is Labour selling us out to ?

On top of Jeremy Corbyn's statement that he won't use Trident even if I'm asked to keep it we have the Scottish branch of Labour voting against Trident but for the money to be taken from English working class taxpayers to bribe a few voters on the Clyde anyway.

In this world you either have a capable nuclear weapons system of you beg the protection of someone else - like Ukraine did when they foolishly took the assurances of the UK, US and Russia that in exchange for surrendering its legacy Soviet weapons cache.

Of course as the Ukraine found out not actually having the weapons means you reply in other being willing to trade their cities for your territorial integrity ... which in the final analysis almost no power - including the US - will do. ( This is the point of an independent nuclear deterrent folks. )

Who will we have to beg to protect us once Labour are in power ?

Putin and Russia ?
The EU and France ?
The US ( implied if you stay in NATO )?
Chine ?
India ?
( I assume even Labour aren't insane enough to think North Korea or Iran will do ? )

In the old cold war days when Corbyn was giving hope and encouragement to those trying to kill UK citizens and murder police men and soldiers in North Ireland - the role of the nuclear disarmament brigade was to deliver the KGB objectives, perhaps the betrayal to the IRA was also.

We all knew it - but which of our enemies is Labour trying to sell us out to this time ?

Cameron's utter and total contempt for democarcy is clearly shown in redefining marriage

So like a thief in the night the bill to redefine marriage slouches towards Westminster again waiting to destroy marriage and impose the fascist view of family life that Clegg and Cameron support. The Frankfurt school of humanity hating socialists can only celebrate their luck.

The full horror of a free country turned into a fearful place where none dare speak for the concern that the state enforcement authorities will take their business, money, job and even children will soon be a reality in England.

And all this under what sort of government ? One that calls itself conservative ....

Given the fact that Cameron knows this is pure poison to the Conservative party he's decided to steam roll the bill through, crushing dissent and doing his best not to even mention what is going on ( Where was it in the Queen's speech ? ). It is the true measure of the man the dark and cowardly way he is redefining the marriages of everyone in this land in violation of all of our history and morality.

It is also why the Conservative party is never going to hear the end of this issue, regardless of how much they may wish they could.

The culture wars have begun with a shot in the back to the conservative movement ...

Cameron attempts in finesse the Eurosceptics

The leaked line is that it will be an in-out referendum ... or at least that what team Cameron would like tomorrows headlines to be.

Of course you only get this with second term Cameron rule - which betrays Cameron's real concern, which is to try to shore up the haemorrhaging of votes to UKIP.

Cameron wants to deliver up the UK to Brussels, with a few soaps to keep the patient quiet as its bleed to death by the EU parasite.

The sad thing about our politics is this might work for him.

Its sad as I don't think- after the vested interests and establishment campaigns for a year - the UK will vote to leave the EU. And having failed to take the exit we will be doomed to the gradual death of our nation and the creeping oppression that the EU instinctively brings.

There's only one way to get the UK out from the EU, and that's a UKIP vote.

Its going to be a long road to freedom still - and by the time we are ready the EU may not allow us to leave ( or to have political parties opposed to it. )

We have to start being a lot harder headed in the appraisal of our politicians. Cameron has betrayed conservative England - and really should never get another chance to do it again.

My guess on Cameron's latest EU tease

What you need to remember with David Cameron is that he has default techniques for dealing with problems.

His standard approach to things he is going to be forced to do ( by the Lib Dems, EU, Sam & the right of his party ) is to PREEMPT.

He is especially keen on this approach when his hand is being forced by an unpopular organisation like the EU. ( Examples ? Pledging to leave EPP group, the pasty tax and the Lib Dems anti marriage plan to end its meaning ).

Just over a day or so we heard there would be no UK powers transferred with the next step to the oligarchical super state that is to replace democracy in Europe ( they of course give it another name ).

Now we hear a referendum of some sort is on the cards - what is he preempting ?

Clearly he's been told the EU must be given more of our sovereignty and democracy and he trying the usual PR tricks to "handle it".

David Cameron must have a very low opinion of the voters

This "I'll veto any treaty not in Britain's interests" thing is fooling no one David. We can all see your spin on the betrayal of UK interests.

If not then can I suggest the following moves:

Unilateral withdrawal from the Common Fisheries policy and Common Agricultural policy might convince us of your good faith ( breaking treaties seems easy for the Euro countries for whom the law is just their flexible friend ).

We recognise weasel words when we hear them and only accept actions now - after 13 years of Blair & Brown ( and not a little Clegg and the two face lying Lib Dems who admitted to the US Embassy how their position kept changing to avoid letting the people vote ).

I was planning on taking some time to think about my political future, but I wonder if I really need it.

The gap between the cans and cannots has grown unacceptably big

This morning Man in a Shed would like to reveal the results of a survey he commissioned himself about 10 seconds ago into government which has revealed some shocking results:

The gap between those who can run a successful government and those who have demonstrated they cannot is now at unacceptably high levels.

It is now clear that Labour cannot do the following:

1. Tell the truth about taking the country to war and hold a proper inquiry right after it ( but the Conservatives could ).
2. Run the economy - the appalling 0.1% growth figures after staggering amounts of debt have been run up to support it show this. Labour's failure to identify the structural deficiet and bubble they were running will have desperate consequences for all in society for decades to come.
3. Run an education system. Instead they try to fix the results by even trying to tell employers who to employ. Perhaps they shouldn't have destroyed standards in education with their worse than useless initiatives.
4. Run a government - there are queues of civil servants now waiting to dump on the disorganised chaos that is caused by the shallow talent pool Labour fishes for minister and leaders in.

But I know a man who Cam ....

Labour launch a FUD attack

In the software world there was an infamous tactic used by one of the dominant players to stop new competitors from winning market share. They didn't win by arguing their product was better, if that had been true the upstart would have got nowhere, or that they were better value for money, though that line was no doubt tried. The winning argument was the FUD attack.

FUD stands for Fear Uncertainty and Doubt.

And that looked like the tactics being deployed by Brown henchmen Alistair Darling and Liam Byrne yesterday.

Of course is absurd for Labour to go on about unfunded spending - given as government they refuse to look beyond the Bank of England printing presses halting but make loads of spending pledges each time Gordon Brown draws breath. They know that part will misfire. But they are trying to drag the Conservative party into the same hole. Its a classic FUD attack, as could be seen from the disgraceful performance of Liam Byrne on Newsnight last night. He just kept his linguistic programming type answers - never answering a question - just smearing with each slimy word that slipped from his mouth.

There will be a lot more of this.

Where is disappoints is that people like Liam Byrne and Alistair Darling are ministers of the Crown - and have a duty to the Crown and the people that their lies and betrayal is a direct conflict with. They are betraying the country with their failure to carry out the responsibilities of their offices and the smears and untruths they throw about just to hold onto power for a few more days. In the end the job of the Conservative party is to make people see this, because the FUD attack made the software company that used it very unpopular ( but it had the advantage of still selling something people want and need ) - Labour have nothing we want or need and the electorate should be persuaded to take their revenge on those unworthy ministers who have disgraced their offices and betrayed the country.

Labour praying for a Yes vote in Ireland so they don't have to face a vote in the UK

I've just seen this tweet from Claire Hazelgrove a London based Labour candidate for Skipton & Ripon:

I bet you are Claire. After all your party betrayed its election manifesto to give the UK a referendum, and doesn't want the people of Britain getting is democratic rights from an incoming Conservative administration. ( Yes we've heard all the weasel worlds about treaties not constitution, but even the Labour MP who helped form the constitution admits they are the same ).

Labour are running scared of any votes they can't fix.

Blogging on the Afghan War

I've kept out of blogging on the Afghan war for a while now.

I've been sceptical about it for quite some time ( see my post Labour cynically fail our troops in Afghanistan Sept 2007). But the surge in Iraq showed that some success could be possible to a determined and resourced military ( American of course ). Its not me our there, nor my children, and you don't want to give the enemy succour by being over critical. But the government has tried to prevent information getting back from independent sources, and we can't rely on just official information any more. We can count the body bags however.

The government has used the troops as a form of human shield against criticism. They have offered great home comings, promised support "whatever you need" - then ordered officers not to ask for it.

We have the cynical exercise of an Armed Forces day, "Support the troops" starts to sound like "Support the government", but no where near enough helicopters and equipment for UK troops. ( I saw today that the US has 3 times as many helicopters for the number of troops deployed as we do ).

Brown is quick to use troops as back droops for photo ops of him making speeches ( and think about what bad manners that is with his back turned to them - also co-opting public servants for political window dressing ). But he never pays the required bill.

Labour resort yet again to spin, lies, deceit and misdirection. ( How can anyone deny that Labour are now essentially evil ? By their fruits shall you know them ). The truth is that even the equipment the forces now have has been worn out by the years of fighting. We haven't run a war time budget for defence - therefore our equipment is run down terribly. We may have to pull out to regroup.

But the worse of it is now becoming apparent that our leaders don't know what they are trying to do - except get themselves re-elected. ( See my post Mr Brown wants some peoples children to die in Afghanistan, maybe yours... ).

John Maples asked the question in PMQ's ( before Nick Clegg jumped on the bandwagon - hoping no doubt for a Charlie Kennedy anti Iraq type spike in the polls no doubt ).

Many people in my constituency are starting to doubt the wisdom of this war and I wonder whether she could remind the House of precisely what our military objective in Afghanistan is.

Ms Harman: The hon. Gentleman makes a very important point. We do not want anyone to be in any doubt about the importance of this mission in Afghanistan. It is important to ensure that in the mountainous regions surrounding Afghanistan and Pakistan, we do not have a crucible for the development of terrorism, which threatens people not only in those countries but in the wider region and, indeed, the whole world. This mission is also important for the education of people in Afghanistan. There are now 6 million children in school in that country, compared with only 1 million in early 2001. Our troops have paved the way, working with other international forces, to make that possible. They are paving the way for economic development and a more secure democracy as well as security in the region and the world. We want to make it clear to our soldiers, their families and the people of this country that we have no doubt about the importance of the mission in Afghanistan.

If that was an examination question then she would have scored zero as she answered another question all together. Maples asks something very specific. A question that anyone taking on the role of answering Prime Minister's questions during a time of war would be expected to know of the top of their head.

The truth is Labour have no idea what they are really doing - just that they don't intend to pay for it. The military is seen as "Tory" and hostile. Perhaps they even see weakening it and letting slowly bleed to death and a long term socialist policy objective ( since they won't answer the question when its put straight to them then we have to speculate ).

I suspect the truth is that Labour are in Afghanistan to keep in favour with the US. That's the military objective.

I wonder if Labour will allow "our boys" to vote in their general election - or through various tricks and changes int he voting regulations cheat many of them of their votes as well as their equipment and the support they deserve. Remember in 2005 65% of the overseas forces couldn't vote.

Finally can I take you back to July 2006 and my post on the situation then as we got into the mess in Helmand province whilst being promised that not a shot would need to be fired.

Labour has brought in Sharia - without asking or telling anyone

It appears, in an act of betrayal that is staggering even for the traitors who signed the Lisbon Treaty, Labour have allowed a parallel Shari legal system to operate in the UK with the force of law.

The Sunday Telegraph ( Richard Edwards) reports:

Five sharia courts have been set up in London, Birmingham, Bradford and Manchester and Nuneaton, Warwickshire. The government has quietly sanctioned that their rulings are enforceable with the full power of the judicial system, through the county courts or High Court. Previously, the rulings were not binding and depended on voluntary compliance among Muslims.

Many people seem to have a soft spot for Hazel Blears and co - but this sort of straight betrayal of their country is unforgivable.

Just because they fear they won't be able to get 100k jobs (when John Lewis lists etc added in ) and gold -plated pensions when their P45's come through in 2010 is no excuse for destroying your country. (Which is what this does).

Betrayal and lies in place of freedom

Gordon Brown is using grubby word tricks to try and get out of the way he bought the end of our freedoms with his our own tax money.



The DUP's reputation is ruined amongst the wider population.



People are rightly angry. Its no good career Labour student politics junkies thinking of the next clever way to stay in power and live their parasitic lives of our country.

Real corruption amongst MPs

There's a lot of fuss about expenses, and there has been about contributions to some political election campaigns.

The message is that the public wants to know where the money comes from, who gave it and what the expect or received in return. ( See Conservative MEPs, Labour Leadership candidates, Cash for peerages, the Lib Dems £2.4M donation ).

It pretty clear that each major party is going to be spending a lot of time on compliance in the near future.

But what about those MPs who vote for things they know to be wrong, in exchange for some bribe inducement ? Pork for their province or personal favours ?

A number of spineless individuals* let down their country today, and have been paid the fees they demanded or were promised by the dishonourable Labour administration. I hope they never rest until they at least confess their shame openly. It will eat at their souls until they do.

* I mean the MPs who knew better than to introduce 42 days internment. Some may have taken the decision on principle- in which case I disagree with them, but they have at least done their duty as they see fit.

The DUP should think twice before selling out peoples birth rigths for cash

If the DUP walk into the lobby to help destroy English liberty for the sake of the brides Gordon Brown has been offering then they should know they will have run out of credit with many Englishmen.

Next time they want help preserving their constitutional rights we will remember their betrayal.

Update: Its looking like the DUP took the twenty pieces of silver in exchange for ripping up the Magna Carter. This will be held against them as long as such an abomination stands. Spend the money you got for our freedom wisely guys - because its going to get turned off very shortly.

Lib Dem peers to sell the UK down the river

So the betrayal is in. The Lib Dems having stood on a general election manifesto promise of allowing the voters to decide on the EU Constitution, are going to vote in exactly the other direction.

Their justification for this betrayal of their country and their word ?

Lord McNally, Lib Dem leader in the Lords, said he would not fall into "elephant traps" set by the Tories. - the BBC reports

So its tactical politics trumps the existence of the current UK state ? The Lib Dems are the worst, and completely devoid of principle, opportunists in politics.

Nick Clegg is right to emphasis the Liberal in Lib Dem because they are no longer democrats. One day it is my sincerest hope that these quislings and oath breakers will pay the price of their betrayal of the peoples trust.

By the way the same applies to the Labour peers and the likes of Lord Brittan.

National security - but no mention of the Falklands

Gordon Brown has kicked of his campaign for 42 days detention without charge his own electoral security with a bureaucratic nightmare of a system he has just announced. There will be dual, triple and who knows how many hatting of personnel assembled for his paper legions of civilian forces (whatever that means). So bizarre arrangement with the security council and the EU. ( Likely effectiveness = zero ).

There will be a lsit of risks. Obviously unforeseen risks can't happen unless they are on the list and that will stop us having to worry. It will also provide useful information for our enemies as they discover what we're not thinking about. Some real risks will be too un-PC to be added, and the system will ensure that no action can be taken to protect the country from them.

This has all the haul marks of Blair intelligence dossiers and the British government humiliating Colin Powell over Uranium moving round the world and fictitious mobile germ warfare labs.

But most striking of all in his speech is its failure to identify the most likely threat to British territory in his speech - that of more violent aggression from Argentina. Maybe he thinks appeasement works with Argentina - after all he has invited the Argentine President over for a meeting of 'progressive partys' shortly.

Like his great success selling out the UK's budget rebate to get France to reconsider CAP ( they did that for all of 1 sec and then pocketed the money Gordon let them take of us every year ), or when the Chinese fleeced him (ie the taxpayer) over Rover.

As ever the only thing Gordon Brown thinks about is his re-election. You'd think Lord West would remember the threat wouldn't you ....

Lets see how Argentina uses the dedication of the war memorial for their dead at Darwin. Will someone try to raise an Argentine flag perhaps ? You can be sure the foreign office will do its best to hide the facts from the British people. Now that David Miliband has sold his soul over the Lisbon lie - we can expect nothing more from him.

Nick Clegg: The deceit and the conceit

Nick Clegg adopted Ming's ploy to deceive the British electorate by asking for a referendum on being a member of the EU.

It allows shallow Lib Dems (by no means all of them) to claim I want a referendum - just not the one which they promised ....

Nick Clegg was on Radio 4's Today programme this morning trying to call black white. He clearly learnt a little from his humiliation on Newsnight last night where the pure conceit of his position was laid out for him. He tried - and because he wasn't a Conservative - was allowed to talk out the time allocated. ( This was clearly his intention as at one point he even mentioned there's not much time left so let me explain .... Meaning if I talk long enough you won't have a chance to expose my rank hypocrisy any more ).

Newsnight gave him a rougher ride. Working on these lines - So the Lib Dems are being ordered to break their election promise and not vote one a proposal for a referendum on the EU Constitution ( which is what it really is ). That after the manifactured rage about not getting their own measure through - the only reason for which is the naked politics of trying to deceive their electorates that they "wanted a referendum".

The public can see this rank hypocrisy and deceit for what it is, and whilst some Lib Dems may not be able to break their word and will vote with the Conservatives today, the public have seen their party for what its is: dishonest, unreliable, hypocritical and deceitful.

It is also a party that's policies are dismantling the United Kingdom and handing its people over to an alien state where they will always be a small minority and from whom they may never recover their freedom.

In the short term Lib Dem MPs can expect to be rewarded not with 20 pieces of silver (the going rate for this sort of betrayal) but with P45s.

Update: Iain Dale watched Newsnight also and thought :

"I defy anyone to watch last night's Newsnight interview with Nick Clegg and tell me they think the Lib Dem position on an EU Referendum is anything other than a fiasco. Watch it for yourself HERE. It's about 15 minutes in."

Guido picks up on the discipline hole Nick Clegg has dug himself - there are shades of William Hague and his then leader of the house of Lords about this. In particular the elephant trap Paxo offered Clegg on if he'd asked for Lib Dem front bench resignations if they didn't refuse to vote as he told them to. Clegg's answer where evasive and paxman repeated the question to try to gain clarity. If in fact Clegg has asked for these letters then his credibility with his own MPs will have been destroyed by this interview.

Norfolk Blogger - whom Iain Dale quotes - deserves much credit for calling it the way he see's it - even though he's currently a Lib Dem. If more people interested in politics refused to be dragged along by party loyalty and spin when something that really matters comes up then perhaps the people's faith in politics could be restored. Well done Nich.

Spin like Flint !

Carline Flint wins the spin de jour award for the following:

She has suggested that council tenants ( people in state owned housing ) could lose their houses if they don't seek work. This is to deal with the nobody works around here mentality - apparently.

But hold on a minute - she's not giving an announcement of government policy. ( Though you have to wade a long way through any BBC presentations of this to find out ). And even the floated idea would only apply to new tenants - thereby taking a glacial period of time to actually make any difference. No we are told this is to "start a debate" - though what is has achieved is useful headlines just at the time that the Labour party is bullying the few MPs it has with any honour into being quiet about the betrayal of Britain and the Labour party manifesto by the coward Gordon Brown.

Its back to the mood music - pretending to tell the electorate something whilst committing to or doing nothing. ( Though as mentioned in the paragraph above the electorate should not believe what the Labour party say anyway.)

Its Tony Blair and the police marching offenders round to cash point machines.

Its why politics is despised by many of the English people. After all politics is just a PR and marketing exercise these days.

PS For those of you not as old as MiaS the 'like Flint' title is a pun on the film - In like Flint.

I quote the relevant part of the well informed (about Labour politics that is) Mole:

Meanwhile, Gordon Brown's day was ruined by his newly appointed Housing Minister, Caroline Flint, who decided to give the Guardian an interview in which she suggested that people living in council housing should be expected to actively seek work as a condition of their tenancy. "It's back to the days of the workhouse," was the word among angry Labour backbenchers today. Flint is expected to have to explain herself to her beleaguered boss.

Lib Dem civil war warning

I can't see how any honest Lib Dem can really put up with their policies be changed over night in an Orange coup d'etat by Nick Clegg.

Listen carefully and you should be able to hear the knives sharpening ... of course its always hard to stab a Lib Dem in the back as they are usually facing both ways. But its not impossible just ask Charlie Kennedy and Ming. ( And of course Blair managed to knife the naive Ashdown about a decade ago ).

If I was Nick Clegg I'd be trying to figure out how to cancel the party conference in the Summer...

Having said all that I approve of Nick Clegg's attempts at giving a coherent policy lead - especially as its to the right - I just don't think he's chosen a party that wants to be lead.

Brown goes to Lisbon to break his promise and sell Britain out

Posting going slow today due to an bad attack of Man flu. However I couldn't let the lowest and most despicable part of Gordon Brown's premiership go without comment.

Signing the EU Constitution ( no one - and I mean non one - believes it is anything else. They may say other things - but that's New Labour spin - known to the rest of us as lying.)

Gordon - you will have to hang your head in shame for the rest of your life for this - oath breaker ..
