Why is no one calling to end VAT on gas and electricity ?

So John Major is happy to gift #RedEd a break on his economic denial strategy, but no one mentions VAT on fuel.

Could this just perchance be something to do with the European Union ?

Look who's suddenly offering the Tories advice

Just up and listening to the radio and the newspaper review. There's a lot of the usual left wing titles offering advice, desperate to stay in the EU.

As well they might as the EU guarantees a final victory for failure, poverty and totalitarian socialism.

But then so does the modernised Cameron lead Conservative Party.

Its a shame the likes of the BBC don't have the honesty to allow this point tho be made, but then the BBC is part of the problem.

Anyone think Obama has the UK's interests at heart?

I ask as Obama has been rather keen today to hint that the UK should stay still whilst the European Union dissolves it.

Of course we can remember all the other support the Obama administration has offered us over the Falklands and "British" petroleum.

Anyone think he has or interests at heart ? Even Cast Iron Dave can probably see through him.

Business for Britain ?

This looks like an organisation that has been set up to gather as much support as possible and then deliver it to those who want us to remain under the dominion of Brussels.

A good deal for England when ....

1) The UK contribution will go up ( but the press releases allow people to think it will go down )
2) Its only an agreed common position ( remember the non veto veto Dave used )
3) The EU parliament wants a secret vote to ensure more EUGeld is stolen from hard working English families to blow on the EU's unapproved accounts and deep seated corruption.

Has cast iron "I can't tell the difference between debt and deficit" 1st from Oxford Dave tried to pull yet another fast one ? ( See Ursus defecating in the forest argument for details ).

Just back from Free Europe

I've just spent a day working in free Europe.

That's right Norway.

The people I was working with wanted to know if David Cameron would succeed in getting the UK out of Europe ?

I had to explain to them that:

1) Cameron wants to keep us in Europe.
2) Very powerful members of the elite that runs the UK now would not accept withdrawal and that the media would be manipulated in such a way as too make people to fearful of voting for freedom.
3) Cameron was unlikely to be PM at the end of 2015 anyway.
4) The Lib dems will saying and do anything to stop a democratic choice on the EU.
5) Labour won't do anything.

 ...

Sadly I'm back in a UK run by that man who has such utter contempt for his own country that he can't even be bother to attend the debate on destroying marriage for his and George "HS2 gets diverted around my constituency" Osbornes's political convenience.

PS A big hello to the EUSSR's new troll watch thought police who are now monitoring these sort of outbursts.

Cameron attempts in finesse the Eurosceptics

The leaked line is that it will be an in-out referendum ... or at least that what team Cameron would like tomorrows headlines to be.

Of course you only get this with second term Cameron rule - which betrays Cameron's real concern, which is to try to shore up the haemorrhaging of votes to UKIP.

Cameron wants to deliver up the UK to Brussels, with a few soaps to keep the patient quiet as its bleed to death by the EU parasite.

The sad thing about our politics is this might work for him.

Its sad as I don't think- after the vested interests and establishment campaigns for a year - the UK will vote to leave the EU. And having failed to take the exit we will be doomed to the gradual death of our nation and the creeping oppression that the EU instinctively brings.

There's only one way to get the UK out from the EU, and that's a UKIP vote.

Its going to be a long road to freedom still - and by the time we are ready the EU may not allow us to leave ( or to have political parties opposed to it. )

We have to start being a lot harder headed in the appraisal of our politicians. Cameron has betrayed conservative England - and really should never get another chance to do it again.

Fear, uncertainty and doubt are the unholy trinity that Cameron hopes will keep England in chains at the feet of Brussels

Well this week has cleared up a few things.

Its clear that this weeks performance by Obama's little henchman, Michael Heseltine ( who has been invited into the inner Cameroon circle - so the TRG [ the continuing SDP to those in the know ] ), and certain German MPs as well as other EU non-entities was coordinated.

Looks to me like it was done out of No 10. The truth is Cameron wants to avoid the out option in a referendum ( or ideally not have one at all ).

He's busy trying to redefine the debate in the way Blair used to try to do.

And FEAR is to be the central weapon. ( In the software world we always used to be able to spot the FUD (Fear Uncertainty and Doubt ) attacks by one key player against its new rival. They were sad, depressing  but usually very effective. )

The sad fact is he will have a lot of short term success. His imperative is to spike UKIPs guns now so he can return to wooing wet confused Lib Dem voters for 2015 - and sell out all concerned in office afterwards.

UKIP should not get its hopes up. This is a long war, and it won't be over with the next referendum. What is important is to make good and clear arguments that the public will remember and weigh up when the spin Tornado we have ensuring the UK stays subservient to the EU has subsided.

Then base support will have been risen and we will be ready for the next time.

( Sorry if that all sounds a little bit depressing - but its the long march folks - get used to it. )

The wets/modernisers will spike the EU referendum

There's a growing amount of excitement about the prospect of the political class giving in on the idea of a referendum on the UK's independence from the EU. Guido hints playfully that Labour might change their position to make life impossible for Dave.

But don't expect a fair fight, the wets and modernisers will spike the guns of the referendum before the campaign starts.

As the alternative Queen's speech on Conservative home hints the wets and modernisers have many tricks up their sleeves to keep the UK as a trophy for their Brussels masters. The Referendum on renegotiation is just the start of their creativity.

Any referendum in the current climate, especially one suggesting change is most likely to fail. Make it appear to be all about Angles dancing on the heads of euro-pins and the contempt from the public will be nuclear.

The political class know this and I think we can safely expect them to exploit it.

So we may finally get our referendum, but we won't like the question and we will like the answer even less.

Its going to be a much tougher and long term fight to liberate the UK from the EU than just a vote on a single day.

How fracking can save England

This post by the Economist's current Baghot columnist shows what the stakes could be over the UK, and especially English, Shale oil & gas reserves.

In short we could be energy independent for a long time, and not dependent on the insane areas of the world where we currently have to send vast sums of cash which some of them then use trying to destroy our society.

The flies in the ointment are the left ( Greens etc ) and the EU. The greens love poverty and the evil of desperation and deprecation for their little selfish fantasies and are concerned that a good energy source might stop their left wing utopia being forced on a captive population. The EU will screw things up just by being itself and over regulating to please French peasants and Green Germans.

Yet another reason to leave the EU.

The end of the beginning

So I am still asking what to think.

There a lot of smoke and misdirect out there. Many parties are finding aspects of the 'veto' last week convenient to play up. I'm not going to list them as they are all over the press.

If these events have a significance they are the El Alamein of the battle with the EU.

A victory, after so many retreats and defeats, but nothing like a war won.

In Churchill's words perhaps "the end of the beginning".

The problems are obvious. Cameron acted as he did as he had a shot gun forced to his back and needed to be seen to play along. Initially the Lib Dems were in on this, but then due to the extremist nature of Lib Dem Europhilia and hatred of the UK as a sovereign state had to move their position to one of shock.

Whilst his Eurosceptic credit was up - Cameron slammed the door on a referendum. ( Even if he wanted one he couldn't deliver as the Lib Dems won't allow it ).

In the mean time over in the technocrat lead European Empire the debt implosion is getting worse and worse. Greece, Portugal & Ireland are condemned to austerity without hope of parole. Italy may soon join them as its EU enforced governor tries to do his Brussels master's bidding.

Germany refuses to accept its responsibility for the currency union fiasco and trade imbalances its set up.

The one thing they can all agree on is the need for a scape goat - and that's going to the the UK and the city of London in particular.

Things are going to get nasty, very nasty indeed.

And the truth is still Cameron is no Churchill. He's a manager not a leader.

He looks good against the incredible weakness of Labour, and he has the tactical political instincts of Machiavelli - but still he has no political soul.

So has any of this made me want to renew my Conservative party membership ? Well I thought about it, but the truth is given the crisis and the threat a half backed veto just isn't serious.

There are fundamental problems with our relationship with Europe. One of the key ones is other European countries lie and cheat openly - flouting the law and treaties they have signed. This is not the sort of organisation that the UK can share its sovereignty with.

Politically there needs to be one clear objective - the return of the pooled sovereignty from Brussels and a set of bilateral treaties in its place which are government by world courts.

Now I know there are lots of people in the Conservative party who believe this - its just this isn't Conservative party policy and is very unlikely to become so.

The Eurosceptic movement has a very long and bloody battle ahead of it that may last life times.

Given this time scale decisions on political allegiance don't have to be limited to who would win the next election, but to who might deliver the ultimate goal.

Update: That didn't take long, Benedict Brogan is forecasting that Cosnervtaive MPs are about to be sold short to save the Coalition.

Well an apology is in order

I have to say ( and did in the last post ) that I never thought David Cameron would do it.

But he has finally used the veto. So I owe him an apology and am happy to give it here. Sorry Mr Cameron.

But there is much much more to do. The UK needs to line itself up with the world and not old sick Europe. All the people who moaned about our not being in the Euro are going to go into over drive now.

But remember we import more from the EU than we export.

We are net contributors to the outrageous EU budget.

Along with the French we are a key military power ( just ).

We must not sell ourselves short. Though the predictable hedging of bets from the Labour party suggest there are many would would like to see just that.

Now how about that referendum ?

French planning Vichy Europe

Having installed Quislings in Greece and any second now Italy the new inner Europe axis powers and getting ready to demand every one else surrenders also. ( Nicholas demonstrates the French national dance on the right - its easy just give up all your sovereignty, money and self respect - there's cheese in it you know - the Germans are paying ... ).

The new line to whip the remaining free countries in Europe is to threaten the inner axis ( started with the sinister Frankfurt group* recently - we have no pictures of the event, but it must have been something like the picture below).

Expect very shortly the usual suspects ( Peter Oborne's Guilty Men ) to start bleating on the radio and TV that we have no choice but to be in the Axis powers, and it would be a disaster if we had to trade with a group of countries where we import far more than we export to due to out weak position - hang on a minute ....

Those who have sold their souls to Brussels will shortly be trying to sell their country again. My guess is it'll be on the radio by Monday morning as we are told we can't repatriate any powers and must let a new treaty go through without a referendum due to the world wide emergency the EU bloody minded incompetence has created.

The Greek prime minister at least understand democracy

A referendum ? On the diktats from out Brussels masters ? Not allowed, impossible, pointless, its the wrong time - oh hold on you can do it after all.

All that's required is for the politicians to be more frightened of their people than their EU masters.

The three line whip suicide pact

So it begins - the Conservative party is hell bent on destroying itself.

The three line whip on a motion that reflects the majority views in this country, being denied by the political elite, could well be the moment that David Cameron loses the next general election.

So the long march it is then...

Can't be long now ....

... all the signs of the great EU stitch up are in play.

My bet is that the North of Europe loses out, in exchange for being enslaved in yet stronger "European Union".

Prepare to have more of your money, freedom and sovereignty stolen ....

Who pays ?

The Greeks have had a slap up meal and there's just the small matter of the bill, which needs to be paid or else the Greeks can't come back tomorrow for a slap up meal ( which they would again like someone else to pay for ).

The EU has fudged the issue, but in the end its private individuals who get mugged. Here are the candidates:

• The slightly guilty: Those with links to banks, especially French banks. They were trying to make money out of the Greeks debt gluttony and so really should take the hit, but since they might not be able to stand it and the French shorty President will never get re-elected if they do other candidates are needed.
• Gamble the little money that's left, and hope no one notices and black 31 comes up on the roulette wheel. ( The advantage here is you can deny there was ever a problem if you win - if you lose its all over, but then it might be anyway ) This is the approach favoured by most Euro-criminals and the ECB.
• Make the taxpayer pay but confiscating their property with the full force of the law. The French like this idea, especially when it applies to the Germans and well anyone else but them and their banks ( and shorty President ).
• If only there was some way of making the Brits pay ? Still working on this one, but Nick Clegg might have a few useful ideas.
