Why should anyone trust Theresa May ?

There was a #Remoaner article by Alex Massie in the Spectator making the usual excuses for continuing the suspension of sovereignty and democracy that Remain are so committed to.

But he asks one good question - if Theresa May is this week so committed to sovereignty, independence and the restoration of democracy - then why wasn't she before June 23rd this year ?

Yes she kept a level of profile that would have made Agent Corbyn proud on the subject, but she sided with Cameron, Osborn, Goldman Sachs and the EU against the United Kingdom as a sovereign country.

Yet today we have the born again Kipper incarnation of Mrs May.

Don't get me wrong I put country before party and wish the current government the very best in the type of Brexit is seems to want to claim for the United Kingdom. But this doesn't mean there's no questions to be asked about the unexplained road to Damascus conversion of Mrs May.

Could it be that the thing that has scared the Conservatives most has been UKIP embedding into our political system ?

We know Mrs May plays her cards close to her chest. She has still managed to avoid the ideology tags. She certainly had David Cameron and George Osborne fooled as to her real views on how they ran government.

She has the capacity to avoid being understood ( I could put this a less generous way ).

She is clearly tactically astute, brave, patient, ruthless and bold.

But can those of us who campaigned for Brexit and to get our country back trust her any more than David Cameron could ? ( In fairness she didn't betray David Cameron - just clearly harbour some very strong criticisms of his approach and goals that she kept loyally quiet ).

Lets also remember that one of the key objectives of the Conservative party has been to try to cut of the oxygen supply from UKIP - might this be what is really going on just now ?

Without UKIP the establishment will be able to go back to the Euro Oligarchical stitch up they were so pleased with and which protected them from the people.

History already teaches us to treat Mrs May with caution.

In response to Tim Stanley and the Conservative hand ringers

 In response to an article by Tim Stanley in the Telegraph 11th June 2015

I hear a lot of this UKIP can't be allowed stuff ( from CCHQ friendly journalists especially ). The alternative seems to be the trust Cameron idea that tame Conservative Eurosceptics have swallowed with a sudden outbreak of Stockholm syndrome.

Well here's the thing - almost by definition no one in UKIP trusts David Cameron, now or ever again. Its just a fact that Conservative Outers ( not the same as fair weather Euroscepticism with half an eye on their careers ) need to accept.

Writing articles saying "UKIP must ..." is really writing propaganda for the Yes campaign - because frankly if we trusted the Conservative or Labour parties then many of us would still be in them.

There needs to be a start - and it will be made by those who turn out and turn up.

Many UKIP members like myself would welcome those from all or any political party who want a sovereign and democratic country restored. Those who have to wait to see which way the wind is blowing and the fine detail of the renegotiation frankly aren't going to be much use to anyone.

The train is leaving - get on and join in and stop whining.

Irretrievable defeat for a generation is starring us in the face

This has been one of my last blogged about general elections since I started blogging.

The reason is I've been much more closely involved in this one, to the extent that a lot of what has gone on via the media has passed me by. I've been involved in what seems to know be called the ground war.

I can confirm from conversations with voters that the Conservative use of the SNP was very effective, though the cost looks like being the Union. Of I hadn't left the Conservatives a few years ago I would have then. ( If you are still in the Conservative party I suggest you need to reflect on why it places the careers of a few trustafarians ahead of the nation. )

UKIP up 9.8% of the vote, the Conservatives only 0.8% , the policy of targeting 3 way marginals misfired die to the incredible media bias and the sacrifice the nation for victory Conservative strategy.

All well and good, but now we have recent events in UKIP. Many of us watching don't know what is fully going on. We can't trust the MSM who are in ecstasy over events are are rubbing as much salt into the wounds as it can.

Both apparent sides have issues, but they have also backed each other into a corner where one side will lose. And that lose can potentially be enough to cut UKIP's hamstrings .

On the verge of the referendum, which is a once in a political lifetime event. Cameron has gambled with two referendums and will fancy his chances now - regardless of what placebo concessions he tries to claim make a significant change.

This Mexican standoff need to end with one or both sides putting the cause of freedom ahead of whatever personal consequences they fear in backing down.

The alternative is the end of any hope of a sovereign United Kingdom.

Of course you can hear the panic at CCHQ towers. IDS is being dragged out to sound all scary - but here's the thing if the Conservatives actually mean what they say about a EU referendum then they have nothing to fear from UKIP. Indeed Cameron could have had a agreement before the election - he was offered one.

But of course many of us realise that Cameron is just offering another Cast Iron Guarantee ....

Many of us explain to Conservative Eurosceptic friends exactly this point, but due to some sort of Stockholm syndrome they can't see it. ( I should know that included me once ).

Lets be clear either the EU does well in this election or the UK does.

Vote for UKIP is you want your country back from people like Blair and Cameron.

The first steps

Congratulations to the people of Clacton for keeping one of the best MPs in Westminster and the bonus of getting the first UKIP MP elected to Parliament.

I saw Tim Aker on the TV talking about Essex going Purple, and I think he may well be shown to be right.

The people of Essex form a collective opinion about our politicians. They loved Maggie, they lost faith in John Major. They really hated Brown, but that hasn't persuaded them to embrace Cameron.

Essex is the place of revolutions and revolts from Watt Tyler, the Roundheads, and even the Thatcherites. Being on the wrong side of Essex opinion is bad for your political health - just ask Neil Kinnock about Basildon.

And significant areas of Essex are lining up behind UKIP.

Now there's going to be trouble .....

Newark

Well it looks like the by-election in Newark will show that the combined payroll activists and what is still a well oiled professional political machine can win a by-election.

The Tory machine will try to use this to draw a line under the Euro Parliament peasants revolt.

The plebs, they will argue, have been whipped back into line.

The universal chorus of the media will all broadcast CCHQ's media line in unison.

Only this isn't really it - the truth is UKIP are involved in a long war, not a short fight.

UK sovereignty won't be returned by Euro elections and certainly not be the hopelessly compromised Conservative party.

Its going to be a long campaign.

UKIP need to think long term. Think party membership, philosophical underpinning, education of the public - especially the young.

I doubt we will win back our country any time soon, but the fight is worthy and will never be won by those who fear to make a start or who are put of by single election results or the now totalitarian universal dismissal of the UK media.

There will be much hardship to come - so we need to think strategically and plan long term.

PS If Newark turns out to be a surprise, then I'll be delighted, but it won't change the fact that we are perhaps only at the end of the beginning. Its a long way to go before UKIP has its D-Day to liberate our country ( and possibly many others ).

Its now possible

UKIP winning the European elections in the UK has been spoken about for at least a year. Many, including leading figures in the EU, have tried to set expectations high for UKIP to reduce the shock and hopefully make the result look like  a bit disappointing when it arrived.

But we can see the cold hard counting of ballot papers creates facts on the ground in a way that opinion polls just don't.

UKIP is now being taken seriously, though the concerns of UKIP voters most clearly aren't. ( The response of the Conservative party has been of the Blair "give me initiatives that" variety. Not born of conviction or principle, but rather a hard calculation of what they think might be required to keep the political careers on the road. )

There's further growing up needed for UKIP. The more established parties have good canvassing records and still have ground organisations that can turn the vote out. But as Crick points out on his channel 4 blog that will come.

There will also now be interest from sources who live to influence policy, foreign governments, business etc in the party. Lobbying may start. Even some of the more life long career minded bright young things doing PPE at Oxford may decide to bet their careers on UKIP ( frankly I view this with horror - but its likely to occur ).

Great care needs to be taken to avoid capture by the establishment.

UKIP must remember its primary aim and purpose - to restore the sovereignty of our country. But its now clearly possible, and credible, that UKIP may in time deliver this end, rather than either Labour or the Conservatives.

A start

Its the morning after the local elections where UKIP have exceeded all expectations and the pundits and politicos are on TV trying to explain it all. So here's my message ( though I think Peter Oborne's one here sums up the impact of UKIP on our politics ).

UKIP is moving beyond the start, there a long way to go - which will undoubtedly involve many disappointments and a few dark nights.

But UKIP has always been a long term project.

I left the Conservatives when I realised I was just being strung along and that not only did their leadership have no intention of delivering, but that they would actual act against the interests of many of their long standing supporters.

It was a dramatic decision for someone who was a life long supporter, donor, often member. It was hard for  someone who's taken all the abuse that came with arguing for freedom in the 80s & 90s, to have to leave the party he stood with all his life. But my country, family and God come first. ( The redefinition of marriage meant that I as a Christian could stay in the Conservative party with a clear conscience any more ).

Today is the beginning of winning our country back, but I'm under no illusion how hard and brutal the fight is going to be. The frankly evil smear campaign to intimidate anyone who disagrees with the political class has been a shock.

But for evil to prosper all that is needed is for good people to do nothing.

( If you made the mistake of trusting Mr Cameron yesterday - just remember what he said to win your vote and when it all turns to rust - come and join us. You'll always be welcome.)

Voting UKIP strengthens the Eurosceptics hand

Things are getting desperate over at Conservative HQ, as they are now trying the trust me I get it ploy.

Here's the thing; the best way to force Cameron's hand is to vote UKIP.

I bet some conservative MP's are, I know many Conservative party members are as they've told me.

It makes no difference to Cameron's ability to deliver on the EU if he has no MEPs !

But it will put enormous pressure on him and his europium CCC federalist supports if UKIP weeps board on may 22nd.

Stay calm and vote UKIP.

PS remember Cameron is reported as having so little honour he's not even planning on resigning if he losses Scotland ! The last thing he is is to be trusted. If you want anything from him you need his feet to the fire first.

Cameron doesn't plan to deliver on the EU

The First Post reports:

"the prime minister has privately vowed to not give an inch on Europe, even if his party is humiliated at the European polls."

Of course they could have the story wrong here - but it seems to me that the Conservtaives are not being entiorely straight about Mr Cameron's intentions with regard to the EU.

You really can't trust Cast Iron Dave.

If you want your country back then UKIP is the only  way to vote in May.

Closing down debate using the R word is a desperate move by the Conservatives

Today the Conservative party went into full headless chicken mode and rolled Jeremy Hunt out to use the Racism attack against UKIP.

This is a low form of politics since:

1. It aims to close down debate, and not to win it.
2. Its a smear, which is most effective for the person who first reaches for the mud ( normally ).
3. See the pictures below - which political party / govt produced these ? The charge is hypocrisy.
4. You legitimise this tactic to close down debate in the future and damage democracy as a result.

Of course the Conservatives think it will be effective in intimating people at the ballot box. 

There was a time when the Conservative party stood for principled debate, indeed it was a time that the Conservative party was confident in its own arguments and position to welcome a full and extensive debate - as it had the courage of its convictions and expected to be judged the winner of that debate by the jury of the British electorate.

No more. Today the tactics of Blair have been officially adopted.

There is one problem though, what the interns at CCHQ forget is that it wasn't the message in 2005 that was unpopular ( indeed polling showed it was very popular ) - it was the Conservative party.

That's even more their problem today, and its a position they have bought on themselves by unprincipled mud slinging that has been on show from their friends in the media and today by the Conservative party itself.

Only UKIP have the argument to keep the Union

The odd thing about the SNP's push for separating Scotland from the UK is there plan to surrender sovereignty as soon as possible to the EU afterwards.

The UK's current viting weight in the council of ministers is about 8%. Since Scotland is about a 1/10 of the population I assume ( but await the EU anaorak correction ) it will be less that 1% for Scotland.

The EU already has possention of the fish in UK (Scottish waters ) and is using the Macondo event in the Gulf of Mexico as an excuse to try to take control of Oil & Gas.

Now that majority voting is being used to dissolve the nation states Scotland faces a tragedy of the commons as the rest of the EU votes to take their resources.

So Alex Salmond's campaign for indepndence is in fact nothing of the sort.

There is only one political party that campaigns for independence ( for the UK ) and that's UKIP. The only political party with a positive message for the Union.

As I mentioned earlier I've been away for the week, and I was just back in the UK a few hours ago. So I've missed some of the early local election excitement.

But I'm catching up.

The Lib Dems seem rather quiet - do they have a lot to be quiet about ?

Dave has descided that those who vote UKIP aren't racists, clowns and fools as long as they come to heal and vote for him in 2015 - predictably condescending and out of touch.

Numerous Tory MPs dare a little criticism followed by the career saving statement of loyalty and its all because we haven't explained ourselves enough line.

The odd Conservative now ex-councillor gets out his 12 bore and gives modernising / marriage redefining Dave both barrels ( great - can I direct you to the UKIP membership web page where you can help finish the job ).

Is this a new purple dawn - I really don't know, I fear it might be more like a cup upset - but if you agree with UKIP and Nigel Farage and your in another political party then now is time to be counted and to come and join us and kick the political class where it really hurts.

It won't do to wish for the ends but be found sleeping in your beds when your nation needs you.

Why you should votye UKIP in Eastleigh

There is only one way to vote in Eastleigh to make a difference.

Vote Conservative and they're candidate will be swallowed by the modernising project that thinks destroying marriage is a political priority.

Vote Lib Dem - and you get another Chris Huhne to join Renard and all the other Lib Dem political careerists.

Vote Labour a waste your vote. Why not really annoy the Lib Dems and Tories by voting UKIP.
But vote UKIP and you can overturn the political class's apple cart.

Vote UKIP and the country will cheer you all on and the political class that has destroyed our pensions, betrayed our country and enriched themselves stutters on the Today program.

Update:

The Daily Mail - that is running desperately hard to see UKIP off has a poll that coincidentally put the Conservatives in the lead. This is *very* convenient for the Conservative campaign as it will put those who would vote UKIP to get Cameron removed under pressure. A little bit too convenient in my view.

Here's the thing - if you live in Eastleigh - you're not voting for a government.

Almost any of the major candidates would function as a parliemnetary representative.

But you can vote to get Cameron out - and there only one way to do it - vote UKIP.

If you vote Labour - then your wasting your time.

If you vote Lib Dem - the Cameron survives.

If you vote Conservtaive - the the modernisers win and the man whio attacked marriage survives.

Only voting UKIP will get the job done.

Today was all about David Cameron and his career

The problem with con men is you fall for their patter, in some ways because you want to.

David Cameron delivered his pull out from the EPP referendum gambit today.

The odds are he'll never be called on the offer. Clegg has been quite clear the Lib Dems would have none of it ( despite be committed to their Real Refrendum ). And the truth is only a small number of Conservtaive MPs would need to rebel to stop it. Is anyone expecting a Conservtiave landslide in 2015 ? Thought not. So it won't happen.

Something Cameron is calculating upon, because this talk of referendum is all about shooting what Cameron thinks is UKIPs fox ( the only type of fox hunting with press hounds still legal ).

The problem with this gambit are as follows:

1. No one trusts Cameron any more - not after the caste Iron Guarantee.
2. Cameron's real problem with the country is his insane demand to redefine marriage, not an EU referendum. UKIP poll surge really got going when he started to tell everyone marriage is over and he and his metropolitan chums have a new definition of something quite different in mind.
3. He has light the blue touch papaer for a Conservtaive implosion - because when they fail to deliver the referendum those who are to the right of Nick Clegg will realise they have to leave.

Still maybe Cameron gets to be PM for a few more years in a second term Coalition govt, and that's all he really cares about.

The sooner those on the right of the Conservtaive party face up to this the better for everyone.

Cameron attempts in finesse the Eurosceptics

The leaked line is that it will be an in-out referendum ... or at least that what team Cameron would like tomorrows headlines to be.

Of course you only get this with second term Cameron rule - which betrays Cameron's real concern, which is to try to shore up the haemorrhaging of votes to UKIP.

Cameron wants to deliver up the UK to Brussels, with a few soaps to keep the patient quiet as its bleed to death by the EU parasite.

The sad thing about our politics is this might work for him.

Its sad as I don't think- after the vested interests and establishment campaigns for a year - the UK will vote to leave the EU. And having failed to take the exit we will be doomed to the gradual death of our nation and the creeping oppression that the EU instinctively brings.

There's only one way to get the UK out from the EU, and that's a UKIP vote.

Its going to be a long road to freedom still - and by the time we are ready the EU may not allow us to leave ( or to have political parties opposed to it. )

We have to start being a lot harder headed in the appraisal of our politicians. Cameron has betrayed conservative England - and really should never get another chance to do it again.

UKIP gets noticed

The first of what will no doubt be a long line of attacks is made on UKIP today.

The mechanism is the printed views of one council candidate, but the plan is to smear the whole party.

These are the attack tactics of New Labour, which have been studied by their disciple's and heirs.

Expect a lot more of it now UKIP are polling at 14%.

The road for UKIP willl be long and hard. This is probably, and sadly, a false dawn.

Its like a  non league side holding a premiership team to a draw in the FA cup - you know that the premiership team will have tactically unlocked the smaller rival by the time of the replay and the results wont be pretty.

There will be wounds to be licked after this is all over as the attacks will be without mercy when they come.

But its just the start of a long war. But it won't be for the faint hearted.

UKIP must focus on winning the argument and persuading the next generation. This is a long term campaign that will last perhaps more than a 50 years.

Wihtout UKIP ....

Without UKIP little that has been announced/triangulated at this years Conservative conference would even be on the agenda.

There would have been no soft semi-promise on perhaps a referendum in the fullness of time if the time was right from Cameron.

No reigning back on green industrial insanity.

No discussion initiatives on the anti-English devolution settlement - although the regional balkanisation solution loved by the Labour party looks like its the way England is to be subjugated by the British establishment.

No toughening of the position against crminals who make the lives of good people who aren't in the metropltian elite an utter misery.

There would have been more of the equity fascist agenda like the abolition of marriage and its replacement with the quasi-religious commitment to some weird alien concept and its imposition on a people that never asked or were asked about it. ( Cameron is still willing to lose power over this - which tells you something about his priorities given the key economic and national interest issues he's happy to role over on. )

Without UKIP it would have been all about more of the processional political class's agenda.

It might be too expensive to go to Conservative conference these days, and there may be too many state funded lobbyists and other professional left wing henchmen there, but you can still get influence the agenda - join UKIP.

Because they won't listen to you if you do anything else ...
