The causal nature of Brown and Labour's misdirection and deceit

David Cameron has on a few occasions asked if the Brown is taking us for fools.

Its not hard now to see his point.

Yesterday Brown, our unelected Prime Minister, told everyone that the number of UK helicopters in Afghanistan had doubled in the last few years. ( Good you'd think -or you were meant to think ).

Then David Cameron pointed out that the number of troops had also doubled - hence the ratio of helicopters to troops hadn't changed. ( Not so good given the vulnerability of surface movements to road side bombs ).

We are so used to this government trying to deceive that we are almost to weary to respond. ( As Fraser Nelson has argued this is Labour's plan - keep repeating the lies and deceit until no one has the strength to respond ).

A child can see that Brown was essentially trying to deceive with his answer.

And yet Labour tolerate this sort of behaviour.

And here, Mr Tom Harris MP, is you answer as to why no moral person - especially a Christian - could support Labour. The lies and deceit are an integral part of the nature of the current Labour government. They're entire method of government revolves around keeping the truth from people ( via the narrative and media grid ), they are immoral and shameless.

The establishment is trying to warn us about our current plight

Sometimes its too easy to rant about civil servants and the establishment, especially when they are quiet despite challenges which are a very clear and present threat to our country.

But I have noted a number of attempts by those who serve us, or did so, and are often beholden to the current government to warn us, or prepare on the quiet for the disaster when Gordon Brown debt time bomb goes off. Here are a few I've spotted floating by recently:

1. NHS Trusts currently planning for a 5% cut.
2. Civil servants secretly preparing plans for a 20% cut in departmental budgets.
3. Meryn King's warning about "Fiscal Stimulus" and more recently about plans to reduce the debt.
4. The failure of that gilts auction, that now has the bank of England printing money to fund the government.
5. John Major warning about VAT at 20% and a 5p raise in basic income tax ( whilst dismissing the Labour myth that just the rich can be taxed to cover things ).

There is a common message emerging to both parties that more radical action that is being currently openly discussed will be necessary.

This puts the dishonesty of Gordon Brown in talking about raising public spending into its correct perspective.

PS I wonder if the 20% doom's day plan isn't needed to be able to act intelligently to a rapid funding crisis, which must now be a real fear. You can see the scene - the government is unable to sell any more debt and is on the verge or actually becomes insolvent. The IMF steam in ( if we're lucky and they have enough money left ) and demand large cuts tomorrow. At least a plan would exist so the brutal surgery didn't cut too many arteries of the country. However perhaps the reported planning may be more extreme than necessary to force some sort of prioritisation out of each department and to avoid the fake efficiency savings and accountancy tricks being put forward to the Treasury.

Labour are going to try to bounce the country into changing the rules to help them

So the most shameless government in history plans to do try to add to its reputation by changing the rules of our democracy to benefit itself and the personal careers of the soon to be defeated Labour political class.

At least that's what you have to conclude from the make up and nature of the so called "National Democratic Council" - a concept that would make East German communists blush.

This is an outrage in the making ....

Update: The Mole suggests its driven by a very gloomy (for Labour) view of their future prospects. ( Yes loyal Labour youngsters - the current gutless spon merchants have destroyed your futures. After all kicking away the ladder isn't just for the education system ;-) )

Based on PMQ question Cameron is clearly concerned Labour intend to fix the electoral system.

Brown is pushing proportional representation - Cameron says its because he's going to lose on the current system.

Brown just can't help but be very political....

A fixed consitution will be very hard to get agreement on. I can't help feeling its Labour trying to fix the system so that it can't be reversed when they are out of power for the next 15 years.

He's just mentioned no 10 petitions - wonder if Cameron will come back on the most popular petition there - to get rid of him.

Brown is just so hard to like

Now I know that tactically every Conservative supporter should be praying for a result just good enough to keep Gordon Brown in post till the Coup de Grace of the general election comes along - as I identified with my Operation Foxley Brown post when Brown was still considered popular.

But the man is just so hard to like. He raises my blood pressure everytime I see something he's done ( and not for political reasons, but for the shear unpleasantness of what he does ).

Here are the recent examples:

1) The Vote BNP Labour leaflet ( You think that shading of Labour was too slight ? Just look at the apologetic version on their own leaflet ! ). Using the Union flag by the party that has done the most to destroy the Union and the country. You'd think Labour want the BNP to have a good night ....
2) The Day Jennifer Died (for charity which makes it OK ) vs His Conference speech of 2008. Remember "Some people have been asking why I haven't served my children up for spreads in the papers. And my answer is simple. My children aren't props; they're people." *
3) The expenses scandal is all the Tories fault line taken by shameless Gordon who's cabinet is filled with unrepentant flippers. He forgets his own expenses scandal a) http://tinyurl.com/ddvg9a b) http://tinyurl.com/mts2kf.

The common thread is at best the lack of judgement about how to behave decently - at worse its the naked aggressive tactical anything to win shamelessness that we so strongly associate with him.

I know electorally it would be better for the Conservatives if Brown was Labour's next leader of the opposition, but will rejoice on the day he steps down whenever it is and whatever excuse he tries to cover the event with ( and there will be one ).

* Note: I have no problem with this article or the book. It will perhaps help many people. My problem is with the man who says he doesn't do such things, and tries to gain advantage over someone he accuses of doing so.

How long before Brown subverts and steals private pension schemes also ?

It can't be long now. It will of course not be described as what its is. Something on the lines of the government has added the innovation for pension scheme to invest of the safe haven of government debt. But it will mean Brown gorging himself on the last remaining supply of cash in the private sector.

The Conservatives need to take radical action now to stop him.

My suggestion is this:

To state that beyond June 09 a future Conservative government will not honour debt taken out by the Labour government, unless a general election is called.

This can be justified as by no stretch of anyone's imagination does Brown have a democratic mandate for the enslavement of the nation that he is busy arranging now.

Labour shadows Conservative policy again

There have been a whole series of announcements as the most partisan and political of prime ministers tries to remove the lines from the next Conservative manifesto.

Examples recently include:

• More Health workers ( despite Labour cutting their numbers till recently ).
• And now talking about and thinking about reducing public sector pensions (which are unaffordable, but Brown and Johnson failed in their duty to deal with before the 2005 general election because they needed to buy votes with other peoples misery ). [ Picture right from when Labour failed the taxpeyer ont hsi last time. Note they are just talking about this - you shouldn't believe them even when they annouce it ! ]
  

But this old tactic of Brown's won't work this time as its Labour who people now instinctively hate. Remove the gap between the parties and Labour loses.

Brown is off campaigning for himself

So the man who stretches credulity to breaking point when he says the date of the next general election is the last thing on his mind is of for a 3 day tour of England ( where he governs 100%) and Wales ( somewhat less ), but not Scotland or Northern Ireland.

During the worse security crisis of the last few years ( potential war in the Middle East and the European Energy crisis as Russian flexes its mussels ) the PM is off trying to save his own skin. ( Not that you get this question on the Left wing BBC ).

Just think about it taking 3 days out from his job to go what is really campaigning !

Gordon Brown is self interest personified. He has destroyed our economy by allowing the debt to build up, he's destroyed the future with debt and pension destruction, he's helped destroy the Union with the pro-Scottish anti-English devolution settlement and he's even destroying the future of the Labour party by his clinging to the reigns of power that he bullied the servile Labour party into handing to him.

Update: The Telegraph asks if Labour should be paying for the £600,000 cost of this campaigning given the near impossibility of anything actually useful for government happening.

PS I see Dolly's using his - um - GMTV contact to get Gordon involved in some exercise routine which he's threatening his Cabinet ministers with also.

Just heard Hazel Blears on the Radio trying to justify the tax payers spending on this meeting in Liverpool. She said politicians should get out more - quite. But that means its politics not government. And in that case the Labour party should be paying !

The cost of Gordon Brown's vanity - about £250k per job !!!

Brown has announced that he intends to tax us by an extra £10 billion. ( Borrowed from abroad mostly and paid back with interest over the decade to come ).

With this he thinks he will "create" 100,000 jobs.

The cost is therefore 10,000,000,000 / 100,000 = £100k per job.

Now government will get some of that money back in tax, and some will replace benefits that would otherwise have needed to be paid out.

But against this will be the fact that 90% of new jobs created go to immigrants from Eastern Europe. Since were talking plumbers etc here for the construction projects its seem reasonable to assume this will continue ( and cannot- despite the false promise of "British jobs for British workers"- be enforced by the government ).

So lets assume the govt get 50% back in tax, but only employs 20% UK citizens ( both assumptions generous to the government ). And also lets fall for the up to 100k new jobs spin line ( as is pointed out by Fraser Nelson - that includes zero ).

We get a cost to the Uk tax payer per UK citizen job of:

10,000,000,000 * 0.5 /( 100,000 * 0.2 ) = 250,000 per job.

That's right folks - Gordon's talking about £250,000 per "job created for UK Citizens".

OK these are rough figures and he'll be wasting some money on Govt IT projects and pie in the sky green schemes also, but you get the rough picture.

This is even worse return on tax payer money than his attempt to save Labour marginals by propping up Rover for a few more months in 2005.

And remember to pay for all this he's borrowing money in your name !

Shameless Labour - No Inquiry into Iraq for as long as we can delay it

Over the past decade we have lost some of our capacity to be shocked by the naked partisan party before country self interest of the Labour party. But its worth pausing for a moment to remember that the Labour party took us to war on a lie, a lie they helped manufacture and which they have conspired - against the obvious national interest - to keep hiden until they are darwing their generous gold plated pensions.

As well as an inquiry into the economic collapse of the UK David Cameron should proimise an immediate 'proper' inquiry into the second gulf war, and refuse imunity from prosection to the Labour minister like Gordon Brown, who took part in cabinet decision to decieve the British people and start an illegal war. Hopefully both Blair and Brown could then be delivered to the Hague.

PS I see Brown is hoping that he can squeeze a few votes out of saying Biritsh forces will be out if Iraq by July ( and into Afganistan in a big way - but with no clear objective ).

Labour government propaganda in schools

I followed the following link on the government's teachnet web site, whilst researching another subject. It was the face that got we worried,





Now look at the content below. This seems to me to be the use of a government role for party propaganda. There is no need for any minister to appear - the kids are intrested in Peter Jones - not the clapped out socialists.

Get a load of "Because he cannot get to see every school that will be joining in the buzz and excitement " - who does Brown think he is ? Santa Clause on Christmas Eve ?

Lets not disappoint the kids by not letting them see the very important message from Brown, Mandelson and Knight ( Labour ministers all ).

This is partisan advertising to future voters paid for by the state. They want to ban adverts for junk food or just about anything else, but are happy to run their Big Brother Airstrip One video to children who should be protected from such things.

"Why not play it in an assembly" - the government begs teachers - its chilling. I wonder what the cost of sending this to every school in the UK is - especially when they could just download it for free on the expensive school internet connections that were put in years ago ? ( I just watched it at a marginal cost to the tax payer of £0 ).

The file itself is labelled gordonbrowngew2008_256K.wmv - which I think tells you what they are really thinking.

If you watch it catch Jim Knight's bit of nasty political snide comments about technology only being reserved form a few big corporations in the past unlike the new Airstrip One under Gordon Brown saviour of everything.

There really should be a law against this.

( I have nothing against the idea or the use of people like Peter Jones, but there is no place for political figures in such a video ).

What is Gordon Brown in the Gulf for - really ?

So we are told that Gordon Brown is in the Gulf to tell the Gulf Arabs to stabilise the price of oil, at a low value, and to lend yet more money to the IMF.

The oil price stuff is just naked domestic politics to win over the ignorant ( Labour's favourite type of voter). The Gulf Arabs will act in their own self interest - just as Brown keeps the cost of UK oil high with his extra taxation.

More money for the IMF ? Hardly needs the PM does it, and it should be the Americans making the point if anything is to be done.

So, apart from using his office of state for political campaigning - which Labour are always happy to do - what's going on ? For what reason do you really need the UK prime minister to go round begging in the Gulf ?

Once you put it like that the answer is clear.

Brown has gone to beg to borrow the money he needs to plunge the UK into massive debt to pay to get himself re-elected. The Treasury has already been busy designing Islamic bonds to borrow with. Of course this means that the ownership of key bits of government infrastructure will pass to our new Islamic creditors. But we can rely on Labour to keep it quiet.

Perhaps we'll see in the next few weeks if this is right.

Update: I write the above on my PDA this morning, before reading the news (honest) and of course it turns out that this is precisely what Brown has been up too. Stepping onto aircraft with his new insane sociopath grin. The BBC has of course taken the initial press releases and printed them out - without asking what is really going on.

Lets be clear this is a Labour government going to beg for money from foriegners to pay for the mess it created. Just like the 1970's. Gordon only wants more money for the IMF as he thinks he might be calling on it.

Further: The BBC spin of the afternoon on this is that Brown is on a, wait for it, "Trade mission". Lord Mandymort is there - straight from his expensive hotel rooms in Russia. Yet the BBC fails to say what Brown is selling - perhaps they know but consider it unhelpful to the projevct to mention it ?

I'm begining to think Brown is safe

The thing about a coup is its all about confidence.

The man with the briefcase has been sent in, confused reports have come out and some people have attempted to rebel. But those sitting on the fence have paused, wondered which way the wind is really blowing and decided to sit on their hands.

The net result will be the plotters being strung up rather than the Fuhrer.

The battle will be on now till the general election and Labour will be lead by one of the most nakedly political and shameless of Prime Ministers.

The next two years are going to rough, especially on our country.

{IMHO - could be 100% wrong on this, but I get the feeling the plot has lost critical momentum.}

Another example of shamelessness from Labour

It appears that the Labour government has been using public money for propaganda - but hiding its as 'documentaries'. See the Daily Telegraph here.

The have no shame, decency or idea of how an honest government should behave.

Its another example why those shameless careerists need to be turfed out of office. ( I note now that losing their ministerial limousines in the the offing with a reshuffle they are all pledging their loyalty to Von Brown. Gutless, shameless and worse of all useless the lot of them ).

Still trying not to blog till Sept, but they are such a bunch of cowardly, devious, dishonest, shameless, useless bastards that its hard not to make the odd exception.

Is Labour trying to suppress reporting of Afghanistan ?

Apparently (according to The First Post) Max Hastings, a reporter and well known military reporter, is being refused permission to report on the war in Afghanistan.

The problem isn't the army but the 'political end' of the MOD. Ie the part time defence secretary Des Browne.

What are they hiding from us this time ?

National security - but no mention of the Falklands

Gordon Brown has kicked of his campaign for 42 days detention without charge his own electoral security with a bureaucratic nightmare of a system he has just announced. There will be dual, triple and who knows how many hatting of personnel assembled for his paper legions of civilian forces (whatever that means). So bizarre arrangement with the security council and the EU. ( Likely effectiveness = zero ).

There will be a lsit of risks. Obviously unforeseen risks can't happen unless they are on the list and that will stop us having to worry. It will also provide useful information for our enemies as they discover what we're not thinking about. Some real risks will be too un-PC to be added, and the system will ensure that no action can be taken to protect the country from them.

This has all the haul marks of Blair intelligence dossiers and the British government humiliating Colin Powell over Uranium moving round the world and fictitious mobile germ warfare labs.

But most striking of all in his speech is its failure to identify the most likely threat to British territory in his speech - that of more violent aggression from Argentina. Maybe he thinks appeasement works with Argentina - after all he has invited the Argentine President over for a meeting of 'progressive partys' shortly.

Like his great success selling out the UK's budget rebate to get France to reconsider CAP ( they did that for all of 1 sec and then pocketed the money Gordon let them take of us every year ), or when the Chinese fleeced him (ie the taxpayer) over Rover.

As ever the only thing Gordon Brown thinks about is his re-election. You'd think Lord West would remember the threat wouldn't you ....

Lets see how Argentina uses the dedication of the war memorial for their dead at Darwin. Will someone try to raise an Argentine flag perhaps ? You can be sure the foreign office will do its best to hide the facts from the British people. Now that David Miliband has sold his soul over the Lisbon lie - we can expect nothing more from him.

The Budget: Misdirection, spin and leaks are in - must be bad

Misdirection: We've just discovered some schools insist on taking money of parents.

Of course the party of the London Oratory school knows this - as do lots of other left wingers. Its how they get around the prospect of destroying their children's education by leaving them at the mercy of the system. A mate of mine sends his kids to a state primary school that raises £1 million a year - and is populated by the offspring of BBC types, Guardian journalists etc.

Spin: its the world and specifically the American's fault - not ours. So the Treasury not paying of debt in the good times but splurging it on unreformed ( despite the usual Gordon Brown untruthful claim about continuing reform ) is the US fault eh ?

Leaks: Trying to control the news reports by leaking the move on fuel tax. Its just the sort of bypassing of parliament and spin that Gordon Brown promised to stop - but as we now know - he's a liar.

Shameless liar (Gordon Brown) vs Civil Serf

Gordon Brown is try to claim that New Labour has reformed the public services.

It is classic Brown, a lie combined with misdirection, to assert something that isn't true in a manner as to try to place it as established fact in peoples mind. Preparing the public for the dire news that is coming in the small print of the budget ( but will be hidden away so the 6pm news bulletin and if they have done their usual anti-democratic deceiving best the morning front pages also.)

Expect a lot more of "it is right that" type of assertions this weak.

The true state of Britain parasitic civil service has been hinted at by Civil Serf - who has gone to ground as the vengeful government tries to track down who would dare tell the public what the civil service is really like !

Man in a Shed has read Civil Serf's blog and thought it top stuff and would have gone on about it more - only Dizzy had already done so. Lets hope the author gets a good book contact ( Man in a Shed will buy a copy )and can help the like of the Tax payer alliance to expose the dead weight of the unreformed civil service around the neck of our sinking economy.

When did Gordon Brown know ?

David Cameron has just asked Gordon Brown three times in PMQs when he knew about the problem of illegal immigrants working in security firms.

Three times Gordon Brown has made the incredible reply that his government is interested in action not press releases. ( Of course the leak that forced Jacqui Smith to report this to the commons shows that presentation was the issue that stopped them reporting the issue. They are just lying.)

They are morally bankrupt and unfit to run our country.

Shameless Brown - now its marriage

There can be no mistaking the cynical strategy of Gordon Brown towards the Conservative party.

Today we hear that the tax system should support married couples. This is an area the Conservatives have identified, and persuaded at some risk to themselves due to the media's rapid "back to basics" jibe.

On the positive side - since good will come of such measures - it is good to see them being considered.

But the negative and shameless nature of the Labour party is now on show in full view.

In general there are no principles that a New Labour minister holds that he/she wouldn't trade in for a few more years use of the ministerial car. ( There have been a few exceptions here like Robin Cook, but they are too few to bother about).

Gordon's cynical calculation is that if he removes all the policy ideas of the Conservative party then he can then bully the public into voting for him on the basis of his rantathons on the economy etc...

This is a man who only believes in his own importance.

Brown by name - brown by underpants

Gordon Brown has just bottled it.

He has no mandate from:

1. The Labour party - he had no opposition having managed to frighten and fix his opponents.
2. The country - Labour claimed Tony Blair would be PM for a "Full Term". ( Still they're used to lying to the country as over the EU constitution referendum. ( They can call it a treaty - and I call them liars.)
3. England - where the Conservative won the last general election on votes. Gordon "Scottish" Brown continues to spend mostly of his time on policies that apply only to England.

He is a con artist who has been shown to have no leadership skills except to intimidate people, when David Cameron stood up to him he has folded.

What a wimp - can't wait for PM's questions when he has to show his face in Parliament again...
