Brown is to arrogant to engage in debate

If Gordon Brown needs your opinion, then he'll give it to you.

Of all the modern politicians he is the one least likely to engage in intelligent debate where ideas are developed, justified and defended by facts and ideas.

Brown just makes assertions.

Like:

"It is right that"
"It is wrong that"
and today "It is incredibly unfair"

What none of these statements never have following them is an attempt to justify those assertions. ( See his assertions on his crimanl underfunding of our armed services here - notice all the dirty little tricks he uses - especially that New Labour classic the over defined rebuffed accusation - did you spot it ? Yes the "urgent operational requirements" is it. He's hoping the public think that's the same thing as the military requesting more helicopters or replacements for old and worn out kit. )

Just whilst we're here lets reflect on what this tells us about Brown and Labour. They prefer deceit to the truth. They prefer crushing debate to justifying their actions. Labour is instinctively anti-democratic, authoritarian and bullying in nature. No wonder Gordon Brown managed to bully his way into becoming their unelected leader and the UK's unelected PM.

There are two reasons for this:

1) Often Brown just can't justify himself - like when he tells one of his infamous lies.
2) He knows that for the majority of the population they aren't listening to the argument, just the tone. Due to the left wing compliant MSM in the UK he can get away with just making pompous assertions, and be sure he'll never be challenged.

Its the second reason where the real damage to our country is inflicted, and this can only happen because the same brave reporters who will hound a Conservative spokesperson on the same point for ten minutes - just swallow Brown's assertions whole.

They are failing the population, and they are making our politics dysfunctional.

Brown needs to be held to account - and the MSM just don't seem intrested.

How Labour will balance the books if it gets re-elected

We have the pantomime of Alistair Darling trying to outline a hole in the Conservative plans for spending. ( And it seems the journalists are getting pretty fed up with being treated as fools - except for those from Mirror group of course, who perhaps don't realise that's what's going on . )

But what if Labour won the general election ?

We all know that taxing the rich, without Marxist boarder controls to imprison your population, won't work ( except with your innumerate base vote perhaps ).

So how will Labour square the massive cuts it will be forced to impose with the daily lies coming out of the mouths of senior minsters ?

The answer is simple. They will blame the IMF.

Its the IMF and evil international fiance that made us do it gov.

We wanted to print money and increases spending for ever and ever but those unreformed capitalists at the IMF have insisted that the loan needed to employ Labour voters at Sure Start centres has to be paid for.

Nearer the election it will be time to make Labour answer questions on the IMF and if they will promise to resign and call a new general election if they have to call them in.

The new Chinook's are just combat replacements

The UK is losing about 2 Chinooks a year at the moment.

It has just ordered 22 over 10 years. ( Note they will turn up when the US is willing to defer the ones its ordered from Boeing. )

That's loss replacement rate - and doesn't even cover the general wear and tear.

This from Gordon Brown who cut the UK helicopter budget by £1.4 billion when he thought no one would notice.

So folks is just spin again and re-announcements.

But it makes great cover for the desperate cuts to defence spending Brown is having to rush out to save a run on the bond markets.

Lies, its all been lies

Its now beyond doubt that the new Labour project has been one long series of lies facilitated by their hired guns of spin and in the media and freed of any inhibitions caused by any basic morality. ( Is it really worth the time listing them all ? Blair and Iraq, and Brown and the PBR where he claims to have not disagreed with Darling and the Treasury will do in passing. )

The truth is now a stranger to British Socialism.

But since they are mostly Godless and have chosen to proceed with their aims by deceit and stealth rather than open debate we can hardly be surprised.

I'm not sure democracy can function without morality, and I'm fairly sure morality is impossible without the potential for judgement that can't be escaped.

Labour seem to be attempting to prove this point.

Somebody should plan to restore justice to our nation and put Blair and Brown on trial for some of the major distortions and abuses of their power and sacred trust they have made during their time in office. If you think pretending to tax bank bonuses would be popular - try that.

Two enormous lies that are being told straight to our faces

Right - I'm back from 5 of the best days weather England has been handing our for quite some time. Given what appears to be happening in the cricket I'm having to pinch myself. But to confirm I am back to reality lets deal with two enormous lies that our government and its agencies are telling.

They are lies that fool no one. Not the foreign powers they deal with, not the politicians. Yet the falsehoods are used as fig leaves to hide the truth.

The lies are:

1) The release of Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi was about compassion.

2) The war in Afghanistan is about Terrorism.

The first point is blindingly obvious. The only question is which bunch of socialist (and therefore by definition immoral) are most to blame ? The SNP and their adolescent its "Scottish" posturing and playing for attention or the Machiavellian dark cynical arts of the Labour party as they trample over the system of justice. Personally I suspect this was in part a trap for the SNP who have blundered into it, with Labour hoping to be the main beneficiary.

It all happens in August when Parliament is away, and with Brown trying to pretend none of its to do with him.

The governments apologists for the ongoing War in Afghanistan can no longer hold the "its the War with Terrorism" line as an excuse for what's going on our there as we are bled white of young lives and treasure for the current odious regime. The dead tree press is slowly catching on, as the leader in this weeks UK edition of the Economist shows. The Economist comes close to accusing the politicians of lying to their people about the reasons for the ongoing war and outlines the many failures and how the 'successes' in Iraq may be hard to reproduce.

What do these two issues have in common ?

The lies are just holding patterns used by the Labour government to avoid telling people what is really going on. Labour have been obsessed by the media and controlling it. Their strength in this matter has recently been shown In the NHS witch hunt where their supporters in the MSM have been busy trying to cook up the Tory splits on NHS story. Labour deny, smear and then lie and misdirect - its an instinct now hard wired into their DNA.

But this does matter - its our country that suffers and our democracy and rule of law that is defiled by Labour and all its supporters.

There will be consequences.

In the first case the US may never again settle for the UK or anyone else getting to have jurisdiction over a mass murder of their civilians. ( Do this though experiment - imagine another US airlines is blown up over Scotland. Do you think the US will ever rest with the UK handling the justice process and any detention that results ? ).

In Afghanistan the blood and treasure lost can't be afforded by this country any more. Labour has also destroyed the infrastructure and assets of our armed forces ( perhaps that's their deliberate aim ). One day we may come to very much regret that waste.

The common thread is Labour are unfit for government of our nation. They only know how to pursue their own agendas and in the case of many key political figures make themselves very rich indeed.

Which is more than can be said for the BBC and left wing spin and smear machine that's swinging into action for its traditional Tory Witch hunt.

The NHS is not beyond criticism and those who claim it isn't are looking to gain political advantage out of the suffering of the people they refuse to help by making the NHS better ( which requires open political debate ).

Its Labour who are the enemy of the sick and dying with their refusal to do the things to improve our health service that would have an impact because of narrow political advantage and the personal finances of their rich life bleeding the public sector dry.

The green shoots of spin start to get ready

So we have the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors ( who usually predict a rising property market - even just before the crash - I wonder why ? ) saying the housing market is off again ( their spokesperson almost certainly has their fingers crossed behind their back ) and the *government funded* National Institute for Economic and Social Research saying the recovery is coming. ( The Guardian and BBC are lapping this stuff up of course ).

Mean while the Bank of England hits the panic button again for another £50billion of government spending - sorry Quantitative easing due to the their view that UK recession "appears to have been deeper than previously thought".

The Bank of England is not independent - its board have been appointed under Labour.

What Labour want is a recovery to hold a general election in - whatever the disastrous consequences of doing so.

There is now a very large pile of cash being held on deposit at the Bank of England by the banks.

All the BoE needs to do to trigger its rapid dispersal into the economy is to start charging for the service of looking after it.

That would create a temporary blip in the economy just at the time of an election.

The Con could be on.

The establishment is trying to warn us about our current plight

Sometimes its too easy to rant about civil servants and the establishment, especially when they are quiet despite challenges which are a very clear and present threat to our country.

But I have noted a number of attempts by those who serve us, or did so, and are often beholden to the current government to warn us, or prepare on the quiet for the disaster when Gordon Brown debt time bomb goes off. Here are a few I've spotted floating by recently:

1. NHS Trusts currently planning for a 5% cut.
2. Civil servants secretly preparing plans for a 20% cut in departmental budgets.
3. Meryn King's warning about "Fiscal Stimulus" and more recently about plans to reduce the debt.
4. The failure of that gilts auction, that now has the bank of England printing money to fund the government.
5. John Major warning about VAT at 20% and a 5p raise in basic income tax ( whilst dismissing the Labour myth that just the rich can be taxed to cover things ).

There is a common message emerging to both parties that more radical action that is being currently openly discussed will be necessary.

This puts the dishonesty of Gordon Brown in talking about raising public spending into its correct perspective.

PS I wonder if the 20% doom's day plan isn't needed to be able to act intelligently to a rapid funding crisis, which must now be a real fear. You can see the scene - the government is unable to sell any more debt and is on the verge or actually becomes insolvent. The IMF steam in ( if we're lucky and they have enough money left ) and demand large cuts tomorrow. At least a plan would exist so the brutal surgery didn't cut too many arteries of the country. However perhaps the reported planning may be more extreme than necessary to force some sort of prioritisation out of each department and to avoid the fake efficiency savings and accountancy tricks being put forward to the Treasury.

Labour's plans are Evil and are intend to take us all for fools

I just heard Lord Mandelson's broadcast on R4's Today this morning ( because it was more of a broadcast than an interview - despite the PoD complaining about Evan Davis trying to get him to focus on the question - Labour have never done this since New Labour started it, part of their plan for deceit and undermining democracy through lies and spin. They are now clearly the Evil party ).

Mandelson issued the new view of reality which explains why you shouldn't have the normal spending review before the general election in case it provides information to the electorate about what you are really going to do ( making the lies, smear, deceits and scheme's that his pupil Gordon Brown intends to rape our democracy with impossible to achieve - remember Labour are Evil .)

How do they intend to carry this off ?

By issuing a series of unfunded "rights", which will take longer than the period that the next general election must be held within to prove to be unfunded (evil).

By using economic activity and unemployment as an excuse after the general election for having to make the 7% across the board departmental cuts their own figures show to be needed. This allows them to deny their own figures till after the electorate has been conned to vote for them (evil).

By bearing false witness about other peoples plans. Specifically the Conservative who as a first pass have used the governments own figures from the budget ( something Labour seem unwilling to do ). ( evil and direct breach of one of the 10 commandments ).

But then when you make the unelected Prince of Darkness effectively Prime Minister to hold up the defeated and unelected winner of the gutless coup what do you expect?

There will be some Labour party members who would support Labour if they made Pol Pot their leader, but there must still be some with a conscience and at least some decency who will put country before the careers of the demons in charge of Labour right now. There time to act is now.

PS I should add at one point in his R4 party political broadcast, because that's what interviews with Labour demons ministers now are, he accused the Conservatives of entering into a Faustian pact. Nice to see the PoD has a sense of humour ...., or was its a Freudian slip ?

Update: It seems a Treasury spokeswoman ( was refered to in BBC radio and online reports this lunch time see here ) has refused to confirm that the spending review which everyone believes will force cuts on any government will be delayed beyond the general election. Was Mandelson speaking without authority or is either Darling or Brown getting cold feet about the whole "lie to the electorate" thing ?

Ed Balls takes the voters for fools

I've just heard Ed Balls on Radio 4's The World at One.

And it was an almost unbelievable performance, except our expectations have been lowered so much by the pond life moral standards of this Labour government.

Presented with the simple proposition that Labour's own figures showed they were going to have to make large cuts, most likely in Education, Balls kept banging on about a misuse of taxpayers money he had cooked up to try and make the Michael Gove look bad.

Balls, a real thug amongst politicians that he is, always interrupted Mr Gove and I'm afraid Martha just couldn't hold the ring with him - letting him off her first and key question.

But worse of all was Ball's misuse of language to mislead, obscure and misdirect the listener. When the show is put up on listen again and I have a few minutes I'll put some of it up here.

Fraser Nelson warned us a few days ago that Labour's plans for the general election were to just keep lying all the time - even when they were found out. He wasn't wrong.

Summing up on The World at One 15 Jun 09 ( Martha is speaking live before a recording of Ed Ball's comment made earlier in the program ).

Martha Kearney "The schools secretary has defended plans for funding schools Ed Balls and has Denied that Labour would also have to cut spending"

Ed Balls - "I won't admit that. Of course there are going to have to be tough choices, of course we are going to have to be more efficient. What I said today is it will depend on what happens to the economy and to unemployment and debt interest, but I that with tough choices we can see real rise in the schools budget and the NHS budget in future years."

Just look at the words Ed Balls has used. Marta says he's denied Labour will cut education, but that's not what Mr Balls said - though he said it in a way that easily leads to that mistake ( ie very misleading ).

Remember Balls is trying to deny the Labour budget. What do these "tough choices" mean ? They are of course money being spent in one place and not another - and that boys and girls - is mostly going to mean cuts.

The caveats he uses are his get out clause on the cost of unemployment and the cost of debt ( yes that's interesting - Labour are perhaps more worried about their ability to run up the nations debts on the elect Gordon campaign than they admit - a bit of a Freudian slip there perhaps ). Of course these have commonly accepted assumptions, with inflation and welfare costs also, which give just the figures that result in the 7% real terms cut in departmental budgets that Labour are trying not to admit - but the rest of the country know are the most likely outcome ( from of course reading Labour's own budget ).

Then the most disgusting weasel bit of Ed Balls' words - the vague promise that schools budgets and NHS will rise in "future years". Which exactly ? Could be 2050, 2200, when pigs fly ?

What we have is a statement that is the very opposite of what an honourable man would give if he was honestly trying to inform people about his policies.

But then Labour aren't honourable at all. ( See this from Iain Dale about the vile smearing that Hattie Harman is trying on to drag more peoples money back to help the bankrupt Labour party).

There is no plan any time soon to be honest with the people of the country by Labour. Instead they intend to try the dirty tactics that Brown used in 2005. There are rumours that Damian McBride is out there working for Labour. ( So yet another example of the complete fecklessness of Gordon Brown and the Labour party about their faked outrage over the smeargate scandal and Gordon taking tough measures "because he's very angry about this ").

Labour are now clearly an amoral party that either just couldn't tell the truth if it tried or has entered a pact with the devil to lie in exchange for power and a few more years as parasites of the taxpayers of this country.

Update note: Thats starting to look like a key observation. Guido reports that banks are having to be paid to desperately try to sell government debt - bypassing the Debt Management Office Gordon Brown set up ! Perhaps the key moment of the crisis isn't far away. ( If so I would expect Labour to call a general election first as that might stablise the debt sale problem with the markets thinking a Conservative government is coming in to clean uip the mess, whilst saving Labour from being found out about have badly they have betrayed us with their finaicial waste and unaffordable spending )

Labour con of the day

Now I know you might think that when I mention con I mean convict and by implication Labour MPs, but I think the following action by the government itself constitutes a con.

Apparently only 2% of the "Apprenticeships" being offered by the civil service ( and surely to appear on the long list of tractor production statistics that Gordon Brown loves sapping peoples will to live with ) are given to people who aren't already civil servants.

Its the old re badging con again !
