The destruction of private wealth continues, whilst the good times continue to role for those in the state sector funded by debt

How do I know ? We'll I've just had one of my annual pension statements, and its another case of the people I pay to invest my money for my old age using more of it up than they have managed to make in an investment return.

This year the last pension return was -15% last year .

Yet public sector pensions continue to rise, whilst the state rips of those who have to buy annuities by its printing money for government debt programme.

Quietly and by stealth the wealth of those not employed by the government is being stolen to enrich those who are.

Time to sober up

I've just watched the news for the first time today on BBC's news 24. The BBC is ecstatic that Ken Clarke has indicated that reducing inheritance tax may not be the first priority an incoming Conservative government, given the disastrous state of the public finances.

Add this to the row over the 45p tax rate, with David Cameron saying it will be necessary to help repay the debts Brown is running up.

Both these are very uncomfortable for many Conservative supporters. The 45p tax rate was just a ploy by Labour, it won't bring in the money. And David Cameron's accepting it is also mostly a signal. Yes its a step back to excessive taxation of the past, but the excessive spending of the present makes for difficult choices.

These things are anyway small beer compared to the savaging of peoples finances and net worth that is currently occurring due to pension funding collapse, Brown anti-Private sector stealth pensions taxation, near zero percent interest rates ( for savers ) and the debasement of our currency that the Bank of England is carrying out to buy government debt, and give the large boast to inflation that will rob by stealth more of the middle classes.

Its time to sober up. No one is going back to the Brown/Bush Ponzi scheme of the last ten years. ( Yes Mr Bush should have known better also. )

Recently David Cameron apologised for not grasping the nature of the economic car crash Gordon Brown has created. That might be tactical, but it could perhaps also be genuine. He may be horrified about whats coming.

The future is going to be about the hard facts of life that New Labour was all about pretending don't apply. We have economic and social collapse under the deluded narrative of New Labour, that far too many of our fellow citizens accepted at face value.

It could also be that Ken Clark's comment s make a election tax bribe either paid for by yet more insane borrowing or printed by the Bank of England harder to carry of by the shameless Labour government.

We're heading for hard times, and the sooner we accept this, the sooner we can get on with finding our way through, and fixing the out of control state Labour has created.

My proposal for new taxes !

Now I thought that would get your attention.

Well lets face it we are all - after the bidding war with debt for votes is over - going to have to pay more tax.

Proposal 1: A national mortgage( or debt) tax : The Debt raised should be visibly paid back and calculated for each tax payer. A proportion of income tax should be re-badged as debt repayment tax and at the end of each year all taxpayers should receive a statement of how much they paid of the national debt and how much they paid on interest for it.

After all if its going to take 20 years to pay back then we'd better not forget the mistakes that put us here. This will ensure we never do.

Proposal 2: A general debt tax: Its now clear that debt held by people, banks, and companies involve wider risks to society, which society ultimately underwrites. Therefore there shoudl be a tax on debt (not savings). This would have the advantage of providing HM Govt an income stream which effectively allows taxation of the foreign money that has been dumped then removed from our banking sector. The timing of the tax would have to be after the trough of the coming recession, but its time that the wider damages debt does are recognised in the tax system. ( The same is true of many other economic activities and trade ).

I know how unpopular the idea of raising taxes now is with the right ( who correctly see great scope to cut state waste and reduce its role ) and the left ( who just see more debt as the answer ), but like it or not more tax must be raised.

Why not learn the lessons of the current crisis ?

Brown resigns - but your going to be disappointed

Yep clearly too good to be true, its the Mr Brown who was police minister in New South Wales.

The Mr Brown who has wrecked the golden economic legacy left to him by the last Conservative government is still clining to power and will spend any sum of your money to stay there.

Today its the energy stealth tax of over GBP 900 million. The Energy companies will provide various services having conceeded these points under black mail by the governmet desperate to decieve the population that it won't actually have to pay for every gimmick Brown and his team of lossers come up with over the next year.

You will of course pay - in your fuel bills.

Its just another stealth tax from the most shamless government in British history.

( Don't get me wrong govt has every right to raises taxes and spend them how it likes - its just this one is so dishonest about how it goes about doing it. )

More stealth taxation in the name of fuel poverty

Having worked his way through the full trick book of stealth taxes over the last ten years, including the most despicable thefts from peoples future old age, Brown has now hit on a new way of extracting cash for his schemes and trying to hide from the blame.

The problem of the impact of increasing fuel prices on those on low incomes, especially the old, is a very real problem. A decent pension ( of the type he has helped deny many people currently in their middle age ) would help.

But that's not very socialist. The money has to be targeted as people can't be allowed to make their own decisions in socialism.

So the government has hit on the wheeze of threatening power companies with more taxation unless they create a sort of privatised welfare system. They have caved an will spend over £200 million over the next few years - which will either be charged. So the government has created a redistributed taxation system by abusing its powers which will be of the balance sheet.

It has all the hale marks of Labour - dishonest, obtuse, and of course ultimately ineffective.

The answer is simple - increase the basic pension and link a component of it to pensioners real costs ( not CPI/RPI whatever fake measurements the government is try to impose its wages policy by ). But it would also mean higher taxes to pay for it - or less spending on the spectacular legions of guardinista's who the government employs to make up its client vote.
