Labour's meme du jour: Its not Black Wednesday - yeh right
Labour are calling in all their markers to try and avoid the idea that last week was their Black Wednesday moment.
There are articles in the Economist, the Telegraph and now Jack Straw on TV am (you know its bad when Jack gets wheeled out to call black white and tow the party line ) - reported by pravda the BBC - all saying the same thing.
Man in a Shed thinks they are protesting too much ... and they won't be able to weasel out of lending a politically favoured bank about £900/person in the UK and losing the confidential records of every child and parent in the UK.
In fact its worse than Black Wednesday as it has provided the political mood to examine Grodon Brown's great failures as chancellor - like Bank regulation, caving in the the EU on the UK's rebate, destroying pensions and selling most of our gold reserves on the cheap.
We have already paid dearly for his failures - its only now people are beginning to realise what the bill for Labour's failures is going to be...

It was a very dark day for the Labour party and will haunt them for years, just like Black Wednesday has haunted the Conservatives.
