The Nimrod mystery deepens

The govt is about to cut up the new Nimrods. You have to wonder why ?

Surely the logical thing would have been storage ?

There is a definite move to have us underdefended. It is no surprise, emanating as it does from Brussels.

I remember back when TSR2 was cancelled in 1965. All the jigs were smashed up (although nobody later would own up to giving the order) Our political masters (whoever they may be) are obviously as keen for Nimrod to be annihilated as they were for TSR2. Perhaps though this time we can find out who authorised the vandalism.

I'm speculating that your answer could be here

A series of satellites have been launched recently, would not be at all surprised if world wide coverage were achievable and co-operation and funding was shared by various militaries.

Just a guess.
