Become a twit

OK - I've decided to have a go with Twitter. See how this works.

Its so far downloaded my contacts address book - as signed up Dale and Guido's - along with Tom Paine accounts.

Not sure I'll stay with it - but its a bit of fun for a while. Using Twitbin addon for Firefox at the moment.

PS Iain Dale wonders how he has 207 people following him (stalking ?) in twitter - I think the address book scanning my be part of the answer there.

Man in a Shed said...: That's what I'm trying to figure out ... its a form on micro-blog with the idea that you sent (broadcast) short (texts ?) to anyone who wants to here them.

Perhaps you need to be a teenager for the attraction to make sense. I'm not sure - but I've seen a few people mention them on their sites and thought I'd have a go.

After all I had no idea why anyone would want to blog - until I tried it (link to first ever post - written after reading about blogging in a PC magazine just to try it out ;-); 5:33 pm
