John Reid passes the buck

Just heard John Reid covering his back on the BBC news (it was a recorded interview from somewhere else).

He acknowledged the rather obvious problems that would be created by prince Harry's capture. But he then went on to wash his hands of the issue by saying it was right that the military made the decision.

Whilst Harry is in the line of succession it is very much the business of HM Govt and its senior ministers. Reid is just disgracefully trying to slope his shoulders and cover his back.
