Making things explicit

Cyprus makes explicit what many have been closing their eyes and humming real hard to avoid knowing.

What is this ? That we will all be paying.

One way or another - but preferably in a way that's too complex and like hard work to understand - we will all pay.

Our political class worship at the alter of Gordon Brown's stealth taxes. They marvel at how he got away with it for so long. They note that no one understands their pension. Government has been able to force lower gilt rates and lower interest rates and the streets haven't filled with protest.

Things must really be bad if they are making the politician made disaster explicit in Cyprus.
