Maggie saved us from the left's plan for misery and destituion

The 1980's weren't a picnic, but by the time you'd lived through the 1970's you knew something needed doing. The soft answers and consensus had been tried and tried again and failed, but then came Mrs Thatcher.

The Daily Mail has a report on the thirty year rule papers that have been published which show just how strong she had to be to save our country from the left and the Unions and to restore our ability to do profitable manufacturing and business.

So powerful was he victory that Labour had to claim to accept the major parts of her revolution just to get themselves elected.

Of course under #RedEd and the New Luddite Unions that's all being cast aside - which is why the fight next year will be fierce and will determine if we will need a re-run of the 1970's to have our own much needed 1980's revolution. I hope this won't be necessary, but if we don't fight the lazy deceitful arguments of the likes of Ed Miliband then its a fate the county may be condemned to again.
