Fathers need justice, as do we all. We get the opposite from Labour.

Men have got a bad deal from Labour.

Now Fathers4Justice is fighting back again.

Man in a Shed never used to approve of this sort of action, but its perhaps the only thing wealthy ex-public school girls like Harriet Harman understand ( see I can talk class war Labour also). On balance I think I'm still against it when its someone's private property. But then I'm against the way the family courts work against men also. A lack of justice makes people desperate, which is why 42 days detention without trial is such a mistake.

PS: I wonder if Labour were thinking of fuel protesters and Dads when they decided to try to get the power to hand out the equivalent of a 3 month jail sentence by diktat (assuming 50% parole is close to 42 days ) ?

500/1 are the odds against a Dad4Mayor

The mystery of the disappearing Gary Bushell as the English Democrats candidate for London has been solved by the Bromley Times.

Apparently Matt O'Connor has been recruited selected to stand. Now you may not approve of Fathers4Justice's stunts, but they knew how to get their point across to a society that just doesn't want to hear it. Probably just what the English Democrats need.

The Bromley Times says:

THE mastermind behind the stunt that saw former Prime Minister Tony Blair pelted with purple flour has promised to bring subversion to the mayoral elections.

Matt O'Connor, founder of the headline-grabbing group Fathers 4 Justice, was named candidate for the English Democrats for London mayor last Saturday.

Mr O'Connor, a divorced father-of-two formerly of Bromley, said his political stunts will not put off voters in the Mayoral race.

He said: "There is going to be some colour and some satire and subversion is going to be a part, but we will fight according to the politicians' rule book.

Before going on to quote the odds against Mr Conner at 500/1, but I imagine that's just the way he likes it.

If I was Boris or Ken I'd be watching out for the handcuffs ....
