Save for a debt free Christmas

Watching CITV here with my nephews in Liverpool and I just saw an advert for Christmas hampers go by.

I have a guess as to which market these aim at, and the strapline for the advert shows that the message on Gordon Brown's debt time bomb is getting through.

"Save for a debt free Christmas" they say, so you'll buy into their catalogue system.

That suggests to me that our message resonates strongly with the voters and the Brown spend you future to save his today message is failing.

2009 is going to be very tough. I've already warned family of that and have refused to make holiday plans etc. However if the message of the deceit and betrayal of the country by the Labour criminals has sunk in then there may yet be hope..

I reckon it won't be long before Alastair Campbell is brought back to the ranks.

His version of the truth was always popular with the Government.

I think anyone who's preparing (no debt 6months savings etc) now will be OK.

I'm holding out right now.

I'm self employed - or rather I have a start up company that burns more than it provides right now.

Looks like camping this year !
