The roads of South Lanarkshire

One of the things bloggers can do is report about the facts on the ground as we see them.

Man in a Shed has spent a great Christmas with family in a Tory voting part of South Lanarkshire.

Now can I just report that the pot holes in the roads are approaching third world status. I am also told that minor roads are no longer being gritted due to budget constraints.

I assume this is some of the real impact of the SNP's financial policies on Council tax in Scotland.

It may also be punishment of an area that does vote for whatever donkey's the local MacLabour party put up.

All is not well north of the border.
