The Man in a Shed emergency economic stimulus plan

  1. Abolish the BBC license fee, thereby giving every house hold, or at least the honest ones, in the UK £139.50.
  2. Cut BBC funding by 40% in first year.
  3. Fire Jonathan Ross.
  4. Sell BBC business interests like Lonely planet.
  5. Privatise what's left.
Its only a small plan, but think of the joy it will bring to so many. ( I would imagine George Osborne would vote for it. )

PS The current attacks by BBC reporters on George Osborne would make Goebbels blush.

It would be popular as well. Especially the bit about Ross.

Good plan! As the first comment suggests, the most popular part is likely to be getting shot of (the very expensive and poor value) Jonathon Dross.

I could do something useful with that £140 a year, as well...

Great Plan!

It's got my vote - I am absolutely sick of the blatant BBC bias.

And tell them to stop funding the Eurovision Song Contest!

The BBC's days are numbered. The sooner the whole damn claque of snivelling pcism is given the boot, the better.

In light of recent events I think the Jonathan Ross part looks all the more compelling ...
