The Man in a Shed emergency economic stimulus plan

Abolish the BBC license fee, thereby giving every house hold, or at least the honest ones, in the UK £139.50.
Cut BBC funding by 40% in first year.
Fire Jonathan Ross.
Sell BBC business interests like Lonely planet.
Privatise what's left.

Its only a small plan, but think of the joy it will bring to so many. ( I would imagine George Osborne would vote for it. )

PS The current attacks by BBC reporters on George Osborne would make Goebbels blush.
