Blogs at US party conferences

On a bit a crawl round the web to see what people are saying about Sarah Palin and I came across a blog which has really got its timing right (Update - in now appears this blog may have been the key nexus in getting Sarah on the ticket !) - see palin4vp.blogspot.com. The blog has three contributors Kristofer, Stephen R. Maloney and Adam Brickley, aka "ElephantMan".

I have no idea of their reputations, but see this post for pictures of how the Republican party treats its bloggers.

I wonder if Prague Tory and his mates will get as good treatment in Birmingham ? ( Now of course wish I was going, but there was too much time taken of over Summer and work to be done. Only Guido gets 4 day passes from a wife and mother of young children - how does he do it ? Well perhaps convincing her his web site is worth a million helps. )

PS Moonbattery has the news that Sarah Palin's performance was even better than we thought - as she delivered half of it after a teleprompter malfunction from memory !

The left are in real panic about here- with blatant lies being told and spectacular grumpy posts that they will live to regret as they clearly show the double standards these people live by.

Update: The PalinforVP Blog is being credited with getting her on the ticket by Daniel Hannan !

I have had no contact as part of being a Tory blogger, but have as part of being a Birmingham blogger. See the following message -

...the Conservative Party is keen to engage with the Birmingham blogging community and would like to invite you to attend the conference on one of these days and be given a full-tour and run down on proceedings.

You know call me Mr Cynical if you like but I get the feeling that the party isn't in love with its pyjama brigade. Hence the planned launch of Conservative Pravada by central office.

It would seem so. On the basis of the message I received, they have far more enthusiasm for non-Tory bloggers than for their own.

The Platform 10 blog was a joke.
