Questions of the day

There are a number of questions floating round the media and blogsphere right now where people are taking vastly different view points, or none. Here's my list:

    1) Does Scotland take or give to the Uk treasury ( with or without North Sea oil and how much of that is really English anyway ? )
    2) Does man cause global warming through burning fossil fuels ?
    3) How can Nick Clegg and Chris Huhne ever work together again after their ( and its was mostly Chris's) performance on the Politics show on Sunday ? ( BBC1 - for the overseas readers both these characters want to be elected as leader of the 3rd party in the UK).
    4) How much is Northern Rock worth ?

I spent the weekend watching the below presentation from Prof Bob Carter on global warming ( recommended-below ). I tried to watch a Nasa presentation on climate modelling at JPL - but its not available yet.

Anyway food for thought - especially as the BBC is again trying to box the none green fascist element of opinion into a corner.
