And who will speak for England ?

It could be David Cameron. Certainly Frank Field puts his countrymen above narrow party politics in his article here. ( He's not disloyal to Labour - he tries to make the case for Gordon Brown changing direction - well we'll see - I suspect it will be a smoke and mirrors exercise if he does it.)

This is an issue that will not go away. The Conservative party was slow to accomodate rising national sentiment in Wales and Scotland, and as a result when it did fall in line was not trusted.

There is no need to repeat that mistake in England..

As previous posts have shown the English suffer direct and identifiable injustice at the hands of their Celtic rulers. -- I'll add some more on this later today ...

The conservatives will find that the press and many English NL and Lib/dems will not protest when Cameron brings in hid English Grand commitee proposals. Will English MP's openly campaign against this in the run up to an election? I think not.
