Educational Conscription: Does the UK need “more skills”?
- so asks the Educational conscription blog.

He looks to me to be onto the great education con being tried on by the current government - 'education till 18'.

We are told that we (all those not in the national government or their civil servants) must retire latter, on lower pensions to pay for a further 2 years education. We all know in our hearts that people who want to leave school at 16 will just spend two years ensuring those who do want to learn something aren't able to.

The big beneficiaries are the education lobby - by some strange coincidence strongly Labour voting.
