Christian fostering agency faces closure under SORs

Now when Iain Dale and Guido Fawkes talk about Cornerstone they are referring to a group of Conservative MPs ( they call them Tombstone), but there's also a charity that provides Christian Fostering called Cornerstone in Stockton-on-Tees. ( And at least one more that provides help for people with learning disabilities in Scotland.)

Thanks to the new Anti-Christian Faith legislation (aka SORs ) they may be forced to close ... extract from press release below:

The Director of The Christian Institute, Colin Hart, said:

"Cornerstone is providing an excellent service for children. They want to do so because they are Christians, but under the regulations they face closure.

“Most reasonable people would question why our elected government would want to legislate in favour of gay rights supporters who want to close down welfare organisations offering public services which disagree with them. It is not only Cornerstone but many other religious charities will be affected, such as nursing homes, homes for the elderly, guest houses, the list is endless.”

I'm very sorry to hear that, particularly when you consider how other religious groups are thriving and expanding in this country. I hope they organise a high profile campaign to raise this issue at the highest level.

The reason the gays, muslims and others are encouraged and the Christians suppressed takes very little logic to fathom. Blair's masters wish to wipe Chritianity off the face of the earth. Why? Well look whom Blair is answerable to.

Who did you have in mind? The Catholic faith that Blair is considering converting to when he leaves office or the United States President who he followed to war?
