How the BBC makes the news

There's an interesting post by Dan Hannan today where he describes the sort of calls he's been getting from BBC researchers who are fishing for evidence for the story they want to run - read Dan here.

We know from former BBC employees and from facebook profiles that the BBC is an institutionally left wing organisation many of whom's staff go on to careers in left wing parties.

So when they try to create the news like this ( in this case splits with David Cameron and the new coalition ) its going way beyond their brief.

Its fine for the Guardian, Mirror and Independent to do this sort of thing - after all they are left wing newspapers, but the BBC is supposed to be impartial and operate to inform opinion not lead it.

But we all know the reality is very different.

So here's one of my greatest disappointments about the new Lib Dem - Conservative coalition, which is that the BBC won't get sorted out this time as the Lib Dems will protect it.

The day of reckoning is now at least 5 years hence and that is a great shame for our democracy and for the licence fee payers.

But what about the serving ministers ?

Labour damage control has swung into full action this morning. The ever helpful BBC has cooked up another scandal, which they probably had in their back pocket, which implicates MPs of all parties to help spread the heat.

Gordon Brown has taken the cowardly, yet for him completely predictable route, of ruling out an inquiry before he's even seen the evidence - or made any inquiries himself. ( This in itself is a massive scandal and shows all those Labour supporters who back Brown that they are linked with his amoral and disgusting sacrifice of the whole country for his narrow self interests and emotional needs. )

All this implies their is fire behind the smoke.

And the fire could be this;

Remember all these phone calls Byers and co made had people at the other end of them. Those people are serving Labour cabinet ministers.

The like of Mandelson are now developing selective amnesia - "I have no recollection of ..." - which is the classic way of denying the truth these days.

There are specific allegations here - times and place with defined outcomes.

This is the basis of an investigation - even the left wing BBC must see that.

But of course Labour and the BBC know they only have to last 24 ore hours before they bury the bodies under Gordon Browns last insult to the nation of his false a deceitful budget.

Come see the left wing bias inherent in the system (the BBC)

The BBC has surpassed itself in its complete failure to apply journalistic analysis or detachment to the reporting of words from its pay master the prime minister.

Firstly Brown makes my point from my previous post with another of his assertions that everything he does is RIGHT.

But the left wing muppets at the BBC go on and make a headline out of it - which implies its an established fact - and criticism of the slimy coward is only allowed a couple of paragraphs down.

The BBC DG is completely wasting his time with interviews in the Daily Telegraph and trying to hide behind Jeremy Clarkson to show not everyone in the billions a year BBC is left wing - when this sort of thing goes on.

The BBC is a dagger placed at the heart of our freedom and democracy and an incoming Conservative government should not hesitate for a second to disband it.

Update: This post seems to have had an effect see these posts at BBCEye "Shamed into silence" and Biased BBC "Do you think they think he was right" ( thanks for the coverage guys).

It is pointed out in these posts that the BBC have totally backtracked on this article. The link now points to a story about Browne predicting (asserting again) that there will be no more resignations. This is of course another example of the BBC report left wing mood music - but is also an example of someone trying to cover their tracks.

For those intrested in the Dark works of the BBC see how this article has differed over time at the same URL. (Coutesy of News sniffer ).

These are clearly different stories and the left wing journalists at the BBC are using versions to attempt to hide what they have been doing.
