First thing Boxing Day we were of to HMV to spend the vouchers before the rumours on solvency start ( and judging by the line of Boxing day shoppers head back to their homes with HMV bags we weren't the only ones ).

My son spent his on the Box set of Gerry Anderson's Thunderbirds.( £20 - was £150 - apparently ), before we heard the sad news yesterday.

This is the best tribute I can bring to the table the day after the news of Mr Anderson's passing away. His work is still appreciated by another generation who have so many other calls on their time.

PS My  personal Anderson favourite was Space 1999
