Off to Scotland

Its family half term - so off to Scotland ( almost a week of The Glasgow Herald ! ).

The family arguments have already started and we're not in the car yet.

Wave if your parked on the M6, M40, M42 or M25 with us.

Of course the trip is worth while just to drive on the, by English standards, deserted M74.

So off to see how my tax dollars are being spent.

Have to say I missed this one from the Lib Dems on the bucket and spade (with sandals of course) exercise last week.

I've blogged about social mobility before - the problem is that if genetics is a factor in your capabilities and fair society will inevitably be a stratified society.

The socialists and their confused Lib Dem co-traveller need to wake up to this.
