Why not votes at 16 ?

The main problem I see is that 16 year old are institutionalised by our education system to see things in a particular corporate way. The influence of the left on education is vastly disproportionate and won't have been balanced by real world experience at 16.

In short the left hope to gain votes from naivety, and perhaps also to establish a life long voting pattern before young people have had enough time to start to understand the realities of the world and to start paying taxes.

There is a deeper problem in our democracy which has been subverted by national debt. This is just going to make it worse.

No representation without taxability.

Add to that that 95% of kids are left leaning (it's only natural), add to that the fact that the boundary changes will not go thru, thereby adding 11 to 20 Labour MPs that we would not otherwise have, add to that the sway of 41 Scottish MPs over England, and you have Brown's 1000 Year Labour Reich confirmed.

No way votes for kids. No way - Cameron was a complete fucking idiot to agree to that, the twat.
