What some people/organisations will do for publicity.
This snake oil story is on the
BBC Telegraph web site with supporting comments from the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
They are chumps if they think this is useful - at least not on this planet. ( Synthesis of fuel from the atmosphere might make sense on places like Mars and a boot-up technology for a new mission that doesn't care about energy and has a nuclear reactor. )
I have to go to work so don't have time to spell out the school boy mistakes made in this enterprise, but let me put it this way the reason the oil companies aren't biting the hand of the 'inventors' of isn't the desire to suppress this stuff.
But the IMechE needs to ask itself some hard questions about how its gets associated with this stuff .
