Your future taxes are to underwrite Gordon's failures to keep him in office

Watching the news last night I heard that Gordon Brown is planning on underwriting the UK banks by swapping their mortaged backed securities with government guilts. All this to try and improve his personal chances of surviving as prime minister and to cover his past mistakes.

It looks to the untrained eye like Northern Rock again only on a massive scale.

We are having our future sold just to protect the job of Gordon Brown. His ego has to be the most expensive in UK history.

And I fear this act of selling out our future is just the start....

PS I'm away from home right now. Its half term and I've taken the kids round to Essex to see their Grandmother.

This means very poor internet connection (and no spellcheck on my pda !). So there's the excuse for any odd spelling or formating over the next day or so.
