Welcome President of the cheese eating surrender monkeys !

The French are over on a charm offensive - which of course means they must want something.

The fact they feel the need to be nice before asking must mean its very much against our interests.

My guess more EU surrendering to be done .... now where's my long bow ?

Update: Sarkozy is asking for us to trust the French more. "Trust me I'm a Frenchman" doesn't ring true to me.

Remember the last time we trusted the French - to reform CAP in exchange for us giving up our EU budget rebate ? Brown should ( if he wasn't such a coward ) ask for them to make good on their existing promises.

Simon Fawthrop said...: No Sarky's not going to stitch us up - well not until after all countries have ratified the Constitution AKA Lisbon Treaty and the (French) EU President and (French supporting) EU Foreign Minister are in place.
