When its girls its foeticide - when its any child its a women's right to choose

Am I the only one to think that the liberal media (see the BBC here) is a bit inconsistent when it comes to abortion.

The use of abortion as a form of family planning appears to get the blessing of the MSM. But if its just girls being aborted then it becomes foeticide. Indeed its illegal in India.

I can see that the ratio of the sexes has a wider impact on society, but I can't help noticing the emotional over tones when its female children that are being avoided, which are absent when its any child being avoided. I suspect this tells us something about how we may all ultimately view abortion - I'm just not quite clear on what it is.

( Ok this is a new post - but its being done late at night so doesn't displace any work getting done ).

That's a great point. I never thought of it that way.

Rubbing my body against the Wastebasket Enemy Combatant makes me feel cold -- but the War on Terror produces terror (cold products from matter) in microorganisms to stop cilia. There's the rub.
