Good. I was very concerned about this. Anyone who claims to know what's going on, will know that the real problem is heavy loss-leading discounting of alcohol by supermarkets and chain off licences. Problem/binge dinkers are pre-loading on booze PRIOR to leaving the house (violence ensues in town/city centres). Either that, or they're supping it all at home (hidden, uncontrolled drinking). Either one of the previous two, or they're congregating outside shops, drinking themselves to a stupor and early graves (under-age bingeing). ALL OF THESE ARE AMELIORATED by the drinking of alcohol in your LOCAL PUBLIC HOUSE. Drinking is controlled by the lanlord, and one shouldn't be able to buy if one's under-age. So, David (and IDS), get the off-license trade to show some responsilbility; don't tar the pub-based drinker with the same brush! Tall Cousin. PS. MIaS, have you joined yet?
