IE7 sets itself as default bowser on install

So Microsoft are up to their usual tricks again ....

Disappointing - they had seemed to be trying to mend their ways. But that must just have just been for show.

I've reverted to the excellent Firefox !

Update: See the Economist's take - they're mentioning IE7's support for standards (long a point on contention).

Yes, I've done likewise.

stopped using Firefox several months ago in anticipation of IE7 and the fact that my UK bank still restricts its online customers to IE.

After a couple of days of IE7 and reading reviews, I downloaded Firefox 2 and just keep IE7 for banking.

BTW, you write a nice blog, far better than mine which can be avoided by not going to rhj1947.blogspot.com
