The summer season can just be silly without me

With the exception of perhaps a blog from Farnborough and any acts of unusually insane stupidity from our current Labour government ( and they have managed to raise the bar quite high on that one ), I'm going to have a blog break till Sept.

Let me wish you a fun and government free summer.

OK if I get stuck in a traffic jam on the A30 for hours in a hot car with whining kids - I may have to vent some steam at the insane, useless and downright dishonest transport policy of this pathetic government staffed by ex-student politicians few of whom could hold down a job in the real world. ( See I need a break...)

Enjoy your hols mate, doubt things will have changed that much by the time you get back as I suspect the backstabbing season will kick off with the party political conferences.

Thanks to you both.

As you say quiet_man the fun should start in Sept. Oddly I think Brown will have a good summer, which is going to mean a lot of blogging for the rest of the year. I'll need my rest.

Have fun. Will you be at party conference?

PT - Not this year. I tend to descide not to go and then regret it during the week of the conference. ( The last two have been clear turning points in UK politics - and I've kicked myself each year for not going ! ).

I am running my own small software enterprise and once Summer is over its all hands to the pumps to get the first prototype out of the door. That means cutting back on the distractions.

Summer's a right-off since I have kids - so I just try to enjoy it rather than get frustrated.

But I'll look forward to reading what my fellow Tory bloggers make of the event, and kicking myself for another year !
